Ukraine Crisis and Outlook: Culmination points in the East-West struggle

Following the words of the first Secretary General of NATO, Hastings_Ismay, regarding NATO´s purpose „to keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the Germans down„, one could say that the aim of the Ukraine conflict purposefully brought about by the USA is: to keep the Russians and Chinese out, the USA in, and the Europeans down and in line!

The fighting in Ukraine apparently continues unabated without the public having reliable information about the actual situation and the state of military development. This means further severe human suffering, as in any armed conflict. In the Western public, the focus of the media is on this suffering, especially of the civilian population in Ukraine, which the Ukrainian government would like to encourage in large numbers to dangerously „join in“ (after training_with_wooden_rifles).

Maybe many have forgotten the words of Madeleine Albright when being asked whether the bringing down of Iraq was worth the death of 500,000 children there, caused by the sanctions imposed on Iraq, „yes, it_was_worth_it“. No real outcry followed in the West!

Today, concerning Ukraine and Russia, the reporting here, with its focus on civilian suffering, is quite different from what it was in the past on the essentially U.S.-led wars, such as in Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.. There, the coverage revolved primarily around the empire’s „goal kicks,“ as in a soccer match. In the process, the developments and the prehistory of the current belligerent outbreak of a long-simmering conflict are largely ignored („water under the bridge“).

It looks as if effects and causes are systematically interchanged. The practically complete rupture of the West and the structures controlled by it, especially of the world economy, with Russia is presented as a consequence of Russia’s actions. The other way around may „make a shoe out of it.“ A look at the historical dimension of the events seems appropriate beyond all actionism. When Chancellor Scholz spoke on Sunday of a „turning point in time,“ that is on the one hand apt, but if it is understood to mean that „everything was fine“ until „an evil Russian“ simply wanted war, that is not only stupid but very dangerous.

A Retrospective

In the post-war development of the „East-West-relationship“ there are striking culmination points, where there was a „clarification“ of relations and conflicts and certain manifestations of these clarifications. This is comparable to an earthquake as a result of tensions in the earth’s crust and the consequences in the landscape, only as „man’s work“.

It must be remembered that even before the end of the Second World War there were plans in the West to „nuke the Soviet Union off the map“ or at least to_bomb_her_into_Stone_Age (e.g. „Operation Unthinkable“). The dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan was more a message to Stalin than a „military necessity“.

The last joint action of the Western victorious powers and the Soviet Union took place practically from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946 in the form of the Nuremberg Trials. The rift that had just begun to emerge before the end of the war manifested itself in Europe especially with the unannounced currency reform in 1948 in the western occupation zones of Germany and the subsequent Berlin blockade, and culminated in the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany on May 23 and the German Democratic Republic (GDR) on October 7, 1949. The „Iron Curtain“ had become a finally visible reality.NATO was founded in 1949, and the accession of the Federal Republic in 1955 was followed by the founding of the Warsaw Pact. The East-West antagonism had thus found clear military contours and structures. More dramatic East-West conflicts now took place primarily outside Europe.

For a long time, the two sides continued to try to play off West Berlin, which was still a source of conflict, against the other side. For the West, especially the United States, West Berlin was a „stake in the flesh of the Eastern Bloc,“ and for the latter an object of pressure. With the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961, there was a certain clarification, which virtually closed the „Iron Curtain“, so to speak also in the sense of a „stabilizing“ culmination point.

In the further disputes it played a major role (and continues to do so) that the West has for centuries had a considerable power and wealth base in the colonial_plundering of the southern hemisphere. At the same time, the Federal Republic (which was soon allowed to participate extensively) played an important role as a „democratic prosperity showcase“ of the capitalist West with enormous spillover power far into the East. Finally, the U.S.-led West (promoted also by the fact that it succeeded for quite a while in playing the Soviet Union and China off against each other) succeeded in „arming dead“ the Eastern bloc, so to speak. But the leadership of the declining Soviet Union saved Europe from a catastrophic collapse, made German reunification possible, and believed Western promises of „peace dividends“ and assurances not_to_expand_NATO one meter. The Warsaw Pact was dissolved, unlike NATO, and the devious deception worked.

With massive interference and using in particular the political figure of the heavily alcoholic Boris Yeltsin, the West soon succeeded in plunging Russia into economic chaos and turning it into an oligarch system. NATO was rapidly expanded against all promises, and the Balkans were disintegrated, culminating in the attack_on_Serbia in violation of international law. Imperial actions and wars on the part of the West increased from Latin America to Africa (particularly Central-Africa) and the Near East. The „war on terror“ (probably promoted by many „False_Flag_Operations„) played an important role. „Nine Eleven“ was another „useful turning point“ for the US power elite. The U.S. was also in the process of getting a tight grip on the world financial economy by means of the IT development controlled by it.

But, China developed from the interim „workbench of the USA“, yes, almost of the world, to an independent economic giant, and Russia came back to strength and on its feet under Putin’s leadership. „Think tanks“ in the USA had been forging sinister plans for total control of the world for the US power elite since the year 2000 („Project_for_the_New_American_Century„), which also became clearly visible in military_planing. In contrast, the plan for the peace project of the „Belt and Road Initiative“ in the sense of „Eurasian cooperation“ matured in China in close association with Russia (and took clear shape). This also became increasingly attractive for the strong economy of Europe (which, with the admittedly problematic euro, was increasingly seen as dangerous competition in the U.S.), especially Germany. This development became the real nightmare­_of_the_US_Power_Elite and, in their eyes, had to be prevented at all costs.

After the EU „beckoned“ Ukraine with an association agreement, the Yanukovych government suspended the signing of the agreement in 2013. The USA succeeded, among other things, with 5 billion dollars pumped into Ukraine (as was revealed by Victoria Nuland, „fuck_the_EU“) in inciting uprisings and driving Yanukovych into flight. In the process, not only right-wing radicals, but explicitly_Ukrainian_Nazis came on board, among others the Azov Brigades. The Russian-born parts of the population, especially in the southeast of Ukraine, came under existential pressure, which led to a strong independence movement.Unquestionably unacceptable for Russia was the threat to its base for the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol in the Crimea. Thus, in 2014, Russia succeeded in holding a referendum through the majority Russian-born population of Crimea, which made annexation to Russia possible. In the West, this was described as a breach of international law and subject to many sanctions.

After the fighting in eastern Ukraine increased, however, there was a glimmer of hope when France, Germany and Russia reached the Minsk_2_Agreement in 2015. This provided for extensive autonomy for the disputed territories. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian government was not willing to actually implement it. Germany and France did not exert any pressure for its implementation. Thus, Russia recognized the independence of the territories and they, under pressure of further attacks from the Ukrainian side, requested Russia’s assistance. The influence of Germany and France on a possible détente had disappeared through self-imposed inaction. The „big brother“ had probably given a hint that could not be overlooked.

The current explosion

Now the guns are talking in Ukraine. Russia will certainly have insights into the iron determination of the U.S. power elite to prevent closer cooperation between Russia and Europe, especially Germany, at any cost. I think it’s fair to say this U.S. power elite has done everything it can to drive the crisis to explode. The specific prevention of Nordstream 2 is also, of course, an important sub-goal on the part of the U.S. to prevent cooperation specifically between Germany and Russia.

To the goal of preventing this plan of intensified cooperation, the U.S. attempt to push itself even closer to Russia by controlling Ukraine will now probably be sacrificed (the obvious assurance on the part of U.S.-NATO not to fight in Ukraine, which has been kept so far, signals this). A Russia-enforced neutrality and partial military „domestication“ of Ukraine could also be used as a social-psychological „scare“ in „NATO Europe“ to shift NATO costs more heavily onto it. Thus, „Hungary“ and the failed uprisings in Czechoslovakia were also used politically by the U.S. in the Cold War at the time to further fortify and popularize NATO. Russia is perhaps „granted under the table“ as a „consolation plaster“ for the end of economic cooperation with Europe, having at least temporarily secured its southwestern flank with Ukraine (which also recently succeeded with the southern flank by stabilizing Kazakhstan). But that remains speculation, assuming the US keep up some „rationality“ in this conflict.

A particular benefit for the U.S. Power Elite is, as I said, that China’s plan of Eurasian cooperation all the way to Western Europe has largely failed. Well, China is ultimately regarded by the U.S. as the main adversary. In this regard, China can probably now rely on an even firmer relationship with Russia. Europe, however, will experience that energy dependence on the U.S. and its Near Eastern „super-democratic oil allies“ may well become far more uncomfortable in the long run than the alleged „dangerous energy dependence“ on Russia. Economic and thus social upheavals are virtually certain. Weakening Europe and keeping it in even closer dependence will be one of the goals.

I would like to repeat myself: We are facing hard times in Europe, especially in Germany, for which not Putin in the first place, but the US power and European, especially German political blindness will be responsible. The „value-propagating Oliv Greens“ and the practical political impotence of large parts of the left had a particularly serious share in the establishment of this blindness.

All in all, the part of the European political spectrum that considers itself „left-wing“ or pretends to be so (clearly also in Germany again with the SPD) behaves as the Social Democracy did in Wilhelmine Germany with the approval of the war credits for the beginning of the First World War. The following catastrophe is known! In this connection the backtracking of the Federal Government from the refusal to deliver arms to Ukraine or to agree to the delivery of arms, which are originally of German origin, is once again very frightening!

It is to be hoped that the Russian leadership’s rationality and clarity will prevail despite all provocation by the West, and that the operations will be strictly limited so that the suffering of the people on the ground will not continue to expand beyond measure. There may also be currents in the U.S. leadership that deviate from the „general line“ that I have assumed and that would like to give Russia a European „Afghanistan“ with Ukraine. May Putin’s often claimed awareness of the suffering of war, fed by history, provide the guideline not to fall into such a trap. The announcement of Ukrainian-Russian negotiations on the border with Belarus gives some hope, and success is to be hoped for.

Incidentally, China may be on Russia’s side on the one hand, but on the other hand it may also be acting diplomatically as a moderator, exerting a moderating influence on Russia, as indicated by its last abstention in the UN Security Council. This may also have to do with the fact that the question of secession is a particularly delicate issue for China.

The new „iron curtain“ before the completion!

The actions of the US-led West have caused an explosion and the new fall of an „Iron Curtain“ in Europe. Let us hope that this situation will now be handled with as much care on all sides as was generally the case in the times of the first Cold War, in order to prevent the very big catastrophe. The now made announcement of Turkey to close the Bosporus for warships now holds further, worrying conflict potential! We should be alarmed. How necessary it would be, especially in Germany, to have politicians like Willy Brandt again, who, even in the middle of the Cold War, allowed historical humility to flow into his dealings and relied more on reconciliation than on confrontation!

Important open Questions

All this said, there are still big open questions! Yes, the second „Iron Curtain“ has obviously fallen. The first Iron Curtain was lowered by the Soviet Union with defensive intent. This second Iron Curtain was lowered by the West with offensive intent. Socially, here in Germany as well as in the whole West, a second „McCarthy Era“ seems to be approaching us.

The media are to a high degree „in line“. Thoughtfulness and differentiation are „out“. I do not want to follow the same pattern with my justified counter-position.

Marx wrote in „The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte“: „Hegel remarked somewhere that all great world-historical facts and persons occur, as it were, twice. He forgot to add: one time as tragedy, the other time as farce.“ At the same time, certainly, the farce is often a tragedy for many people at the same time.

The first „Iron Curtain“ existed for about 45 years. The second will probably last as long as the US Power Elite retains its power and as long as Russia remains strong. Russia’s position on the aggressive behavior of the US-led West in Ukraine cannot be denied its justification in many respects. But being right does not mean success. The „Great Patriotic War“ was won by a great unity and willingness to suffer. For almost everyone in the Soviet Union it was clear that it was a war to the death against the enemy Nazi Germany, which the USA allowed to continue fighting until they thought that the Soviet Union was „sufficiently“ weakened.

Even if Putin’s government may think, not without reason, that the war against the strongly fascist forces in Ukraine is a „small patriotic war“, it will not seem so to all people in Russia. In Russia, too, young people in particular are quite influenced by the image of the „good life in the West“ and are certainly more oriented to their individual well-being than to „great historical conflicts.“ However, they will certainly look at the numbers of Russian soldiers returning in coffins. As much as the extended sanctions will hit hard the citizens in the „headless“ European vassal states of the U.S., they will probably hit the people in Russia even harder. Divisions may also open up in Russia’s political system (which may not just be „dreams“ of the U.S. power elite). Thus, the risk of severe social upheaval and dwindling support cannot be ruled out for the Russian government.

It will depend very much on whether the Russian government succeeds in limiting the operations and ending the war soon (for which, however, it needs negotiating partners). An important question is how willing China is to moderate Russia on the one hand and to support Russia economically in the consequences of the sanctions on the other.

I have mentioned here the suffering of this war on all sides sufficiently to be able to defend myself justifiably against the accusation of cynicism, but I would like to state it clearly: in view of the ruthless world domination plans of the US Power Elite, a collapse of Russia would indeed be a geopolitical catastrophe! The „dreams of the USA of the second dead armament“ against Russia and China could lead in the long run to the fact that the USA will arm itself dead, but Russia will have to avoid fighting itself dead in Ukraine.

All in all also it is of course a great tragedy that in this conflict the means are „burned“ which would be urgently needed to tackle the enormous problems (environmental and climate problems, social problems as well as among other things the consequences of the Corona pandemic) which people all over the world are confronted with. There one can only shake the head over the 100_billion_Euro, which the Federal Government of Germany wants to make available in its irresponsibility to the armament!

The Ukraine war is, as I said, a tremor as a result of the growing tensions of the last three decades between the U.S. power elite together with its European vassals and Russia on the other side. It remains to be seen whether it is only a „foreshock“ and whether – possibly – even more dangerous aftershocks will follow. We in the West should pay more attention to what „our“ power elites contribute to the suffering of people worldwide (and stand up against their dangerous „games“) than demonize and condemn Putin

Anknüpfend an die Worte des ersten Generalsekretärs der NATO, Hastings_Ismay, hinsichtlich des Zwecks der NATO, „die Russen draußen, die Amerikaner drinnen und die Deutschen unten zu halten“, könnte man sagen, der Zweck des durch die USA zielstrebig herbeigeführten Ukraine-Konflikts sei: „die Russen und Chinesen draußen, die USA drinnen, und die Europäer unten und auf Linie zu halten“!

Die Kampfhandlungen in der Ukraine gehen offenbar unvermindert weiter ohne dass die Öffentlichkeit verlässliche Informationen über die tatsächliche Situation und den Stand der militärischen Entwicklung hätte. Dies bedeutet weiteres schweres menschliches Leid, wie in jeder kriegerischen Auseinandersetzung. In der westlichen Öffentlichkeit geht der mediale Fokus umfänglich auf eben dieses Leid insbesondere der Zivilbevölkerung in der Ukraine, die allerdings seitens der ukrainischen Regierung am Liebsten in großer Zahl zum gefährlichen „Mittun“ animiert werden sollte.

Ganz anders liegt aber die hiesige Berichterstattung mit dem Schwerpunkt auf dem zivilen Leid, als dies in der Vergangenheit zu den im wesentlichen von US-geführten Kriegen, wie in Serbien, Afghanistan, dem Irak usw., der Fall war. Dort drehte sich die Berichterstattung vor Allem wie bei einem Fußballspiel um die „Torschüsse“ des Imperiums. Dabei werden die Entwicklungen und die Vorgeschichte des jetzigen kriegerischen Ausbruchs eines lange schwelenden Konfliktes weitgehend ausgeblendet („Schnee von gestern“).

Angesichts der moralischen Arroganz des Westens gegenüber Russland zur heutigen Krise muss an die damalige US-Außenministerin Madeleine Albright erinnert werden. Ihre Antwort auf die Frage, ob die Schwächung des Irak den Tod von einer halben Million Kinder, verursacht durch die damaligen Sanktionen, wert gewesen sei: „ja, wir denken, es_war_es_wert!“. Die Dame war dann auch in einer Zuschaltung auf_dem_Parteitag der Grünen willkommen!

Es sieht so aus, als ob im Westen medial zur Ost-West-Entwicklung systematisch Wirkungen und Ursachen miteinander vertauscht würden. Der praktisch komplette Bruch des Westens und der durch ihn kontrollierten Strukturen gerade der Weltwirtschaft mit Russland wird als Konsequenz des russischen Vorgehens dargestellt. Anders herum mag „ein Schuh daraus“ werden. Ein Blick auf die historische Dimension des Geschehens scheint jenseits allen Aktionismus´ angebracht. Wenn Bundeskanzler Scholz am Sonntag von einer „Zeitenwende“ sprach, ist das einesteils treffend, wenn man es aber so versteht, dass „alles gut“ war, bis „ein böser Russe“ einfach Krieg wollte, ist das nicht nur dumm, sondern sehr gefährlich.

Ein Rückblick

In der Nachkriegs-Entwicklung des „Ost-West-Verhältnisses“ finden sich markante Kulminationspunkte, an denen es quasi zur „Klärung“ von Konflikten und zu bestimmten Manifestationen dieser Klärungen kam. Dies ist vergleichbar einem Erdbeben als Folge von Spannungen in der Erdkruste und den Folgen in der Landschaft, nur eben von „Menschen an der Macht“ erzeugt.

Erinnert werden muss daran, dass es schon am Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges in den USA und Großbritannien Pläne gab, die „Sowjetunion atomar von der Landkarte zu tilgen“ (z.B. „Operation_Unthinkable“, „Plan_Totality“). So war ja auch der Abwurf der Atombomben über Japan mehr eine Botschaft an Stalin, als eine „militärische Notwendigkeit“.

Die letzte gemeinsame Aktionen der westlichen Siegermächte und der Sowjetunion fanden praktisch vom 20. November 1945 bis 1. Oktober 1946 in Form der Nuernberger_Prozesse statt. Das sich eben schon vor Kriegsende abzeichnende Zerwürfnis manifestierte sich in Europa besonders mit der nicht angekündigten Währungsreform 1948 in den westlichen Besatzungszonen Deutschlands und der folgenden Berlin-Blockade, und kulminierte in der Gründung der Bundesrepublik Deutschland am 23. Mai und der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik (DDR) am 7. Oktober 1949. Der „Eiserne Vorhang“ war eine endgültig sichtbare Realität geworden.

1949 wurde die NATO gegründet und dem Beitritt der Bundesrepublik 1955 folgte die Gründung des Warschauer Paktes. Der Ost-West-Gegensatz hatte somit klare militärische Konturen und Strukturen gefunden. Dramatischere Ost-West-Auseinandersetzungen spielten sich nun vornehmlich außerhalb Europas ab.Der weiterhin bestehende Konfliktherd Westberlin wurde noch längere Zeit von den beiden Seiten dabei je versucht, gegen die andere Seite auszuspielen. Für den Westen, speziell die USA, war Westberlin ein „Pfahl im Fleisch des Ostblocks“, für diesen ein Objekt von Druckmöglichkeiten. Mit dem Bau der Berliner Mauer 1961 findet sich eine gewisse Klärung, die den „Eisernen Vorhang“ quasi schloss, sozusagen auch im Sinne eines „stabilisierenden“ Kulminationspunktes.

In den weiteren Auseinandersetzungen spielte eine große Rolle (und tut dies weiter), dass der Westen seit Jahrhunderten eine erhebliche Macht- und Wohlstands-Basis in der Auspluenderung_der_suedlichen_Hemisphaere hat. Die Bundesrepublik (die bald umfänglich daran teilnehmen durfte) spielte gleichzeitig eine wichtige Rolle als „demokratisches Wohlstandschaufenster“ des kapitalistisches Westens mit enormer Ausstrahlungskraft bis weit in den Osten. Schließlich gelang es dem US-geführten Westen (befördert auch dadurch, dass es eine ganze Weile gelang, die Sowjetunion und China gegeneinander auszuspielen), den Ostblock quasi „tot zu rüsten“. Aber die Führung der niedergehenden Sowjetunion bewahrte Europa vor einer Zusammenbruchs-Katastrophe, ermöglichte die deutsche Wiedervereinigung und glaubte den westlichen Versprechungen auf „Friedens-Dividende“ und den Zusicherungen, die NATO keinen Meter auszuweiten. Der Warschauer Pakt wurde im Gegensatz zur NATO aufgelöst, die hinterhältige Täuschung funktionierte.

Mit massiver Einmischung und insbesondere die politische Figur des schwer alkoholabhängigen Boris Jelzin benutzend, gelang es dem Westen bald, Russland ins wirtschaftliche Chaos zu stürzen und in ein Oligarchen-System zu verwandeln. Die NATO wurde gegen alle Versprechen zügig ausgedehnt, der Balkan zersetzt, was in dem völkerrechtswidrigen Angriff auf Serbien kulminierte. Imperiale Aktionen und Kriege seitens des Westens nahmen von Latein-Amerika über Afrika bis Vorderasien zu. Dabei spielte der „Krieg gegen den Terror“ (wohl durch viele „False-Flag-Operationen“ befördert, eine gewichtige Rolle. „Nine Eleven“ war für die US-Machtelite eine weitere „nützliche Zeitenwende“. Die USA waren dabei, auch gerade mittels der von ihr kontrollierten IT-Entwicklung auch die Welt-Finanzwirtschaft in den Griff zu bekommen.

Aber, China entwickelte sich von der zwischenzeitlichen „Werkbank der USA“, ja, fast der Welt, zu einem eigenständigen Wirtschaftsriesen, und Russland kam unter der Führung Putins wieder zu Kräften und auf die Beine. „Denkfabriken“ in den USA schmiedeten schon besonders seit dem Jahr 2000 für die US-Machtelite finstere Pläne zur totalen Kontrolle der Welt („Project_for_the_New_American_Century“), was sich auch in militaerischen_Planungen deutlich sichtbar machte. Dagegen reifte bei China im engen Verbund mit Russland der Plan für das Friedensprojekt der „Belt and Road Initiative“ im Sinne einer „Eurasischen Kooperation“ (und nahm deutliche Gestalt an). Dies gewann auch für die starke Wirtschaft Europas (die mit dem zwar problembehafteten Euro in den USA immer mehr als gefährliche Konkurrenz gesehen wurde), speziell auch Deutschlands, zunehmend an Attraktivität. Diese Entwicklung wurde zum eigentlichen Albtraum_der_US-Machtelite und musste in ihren Augen um jeden Preis verhindert werden.

Nachdem die EU der Ukraine mit einem Assoziierungsvertrag „gewinkt“ hatte, setzte die Regierung Janukowytsch die Unterzeichnung des Vertrags aber 2013 aus. Den USA gelang es unter Anderem mit in die Ukraine gepumpten 5 Milliarden Doller (wie durch_Victoria_Nuland_ruchbar wurde) Aufstände anzuzetteln und Janukowytsch in die Flucht zu treiben. Dabei kamen nicht nur rechtsradikale, sonder explizit ukrainische_Nazis_mit_ins_Boot, unter Anderem die Asow-Brigaden. Die russisch-stämmigen Bevölkerungsteile gerade des Südostens der Ukraine kamen unter existenziellen Druck, was zu einer starken Unabhängigkeits-Bewegung führte.

Fraglos untragbar war für Russland die Gefährdung seiner Basis für die Schwarzmeerflotte in Sewastopol auf der Krim. So gelang es Russland durch die mehrheitlich russischstämmige Bevölkerung der Krim 2014 ein Referendum durchzuführen, das die Angliederung an Russland ermöglichte. Im Westen wurde dies als Völkerrechtsbruch bezeichnet und mit vielen Sanktionen belegt. Nachdem die Kämpfe in der Ost-Ukraine zunahmen, gab es aber einen Hoffnungsschimmer, als es durch Frankreich, Deutschland und Russland 2015 zum Minsk 2 Abkommen kam. Dieses sah eine weitgehende Autonomie für die umkämpften Gebiete vor. Leider war die ukrainische Regierung nicht gewillt, dies wirklich umzusetzen. Deutschland und Frankreich übten keinerlei Druck für die Umsetzung aus. Somit erkannte Russland die Unabhängigkeit der Gebiete an und diese, unter dem Druck weiterer Angriffe von ukrainischer Seite, ersuchten Russland um Beistand. Der Einfluss Deutschlands und Frankreichs auf eine mögliche Entspannung war durch selbstgewählte Untätigkeit verschwunden. Der „große Bruder“ hatte wohl einen nicht zu übersehenden Wink gegeben.

Die aktuelle Explosion

Nun sprechen in der Ukraine die Waffen. Russland wird sicher auch Erkenntnisse über die eiserne Entschlossenheit der US-Machtelite haben, eine engere Zusammenarbeit zwischen Russland und Europa, speziell Deutschland, um jeden Preis zu verhindern. Man kann wohl sagen, diese US-Machtelite hat alles getan, um die Krise zur Explosion zu treiben. Auch die spezielle Verhinderung von Nordstream 2 ist natürlich ein wichtiges Teilziel seitens der USA, die Kooperation speziell von Deutschland und Russland zu verhindern.

Dem Ziel der Verhinderung dieses Plans der intensivierten Zusammenarbeit wird nun wohl der Versuch der USA, sich mit der Kontrolle Ukraine noch dichter an Russland zu schieben, geopfert werden (die offenkundig bisher eingehaltene Zusicherung seitens USA-NATO, nicht in der Ukraine zu kämpfen, signalisiert dies). Eine durch Russland erzwungene Neutralität und teilweise militärische „Domestizierung“ der Ukraine könnte auch als sozialpsychologisches „Schreckensbild“ in „NATO-Europa“ genutzt werden, um die NATO-Kosten stärker auf dieses zu verschieben. So wurden damals auch „Ungarn“ und die gescheiterten Erhebungen in der Tschechoslowakei politisch von den USA im Kalten Krieg zur weiteren Befestigung und Popularisierung der NATO genutzt. Russland wird vielleicht als „Trostpflaster“ für das Ende der wirtschaftlichen Kooperation mit Europa „unter der Hand gewährt“, mit der Ukraine seine Südwest-Flanke zumindest vorübergehend gesichert zu haben (was mit der Südflanke auch unlängst durch die Stabilisierung Kasachstans gelang).

Besonderer Gewinn für die US-Machtelite ist dabei eben, wie gesagt, auch, dass für China der Plan der Eurasischen Kooperation bis nach Westeuropa weitgehend gescheitert ist. Nun, China ist ja letztlich seitens der USA als Hauptgegner angesehen. Dabei kann China sich nun wohl auf ein noch festeres Verhältnis zu Russland verlassen. Europa wird allerdings erleben, dass die Energieabhängigkeit von den USA und ihren vorderasiatischen, „super-demokratischen Öl-Verbündeten“ wohl auf Dauer weit ungemütlicher werden kann, als die angebliche „gefährliche Energieabhängigkeit“ von Russland. Wirtschaftliche und damit soziale Verwerfungen sind praktisch sicher. Europa zu schwächen und in noch engerer Abhängigkeit zu halten, wird mit ein Ziel sein.

Ich möchte mich wiederholen: Wir gehen in Europa, speziell in Deutschland, schweren Zeiten entgegen, für die nicht in erster Linie Putin, sondern die US-Macht und europäische, wie speziell gewollte deutsche, politische Blindheit verantwortlich sein werden. Die „Werte-propagierenden Olivgrünen“ und die praktische politische Impotenz weiter Teile der Linken hatten an der Etablierung dieser Blindheit einen besonders gravierenden Anteil.

Insgesamt verhält der sich „links“ wähnende oder sich so gebende Teil des europäischen politischen Spektrums (deutlich auch in Deutschland eben wieder mit die SPD) sich so, wie es im wilhelminischen Deutschland die Sozialdemokratie mit der Zustimmung_zu_den_Kriegskrediten zum Beginn des Ersten Weltkriegs geschah. Die folgende Katastrophe ist bekannt! Dabei erschrickt das Ab-Rücken der Bundesregierung von der Weigerung, Waffen an die Ukraine zu liefern oder der Lieferung von Waffen, die ursprünglich deutscher Herkunft sind, zuzustimmen, noch einmal sehr!

Es ist zu hoffen, dass Rationalität und Klarheit der russischen Führung trotz aller Provokation durch den Westen die Oberhand behält, und die Operationen eng begrenzt werden und damit das Leid der Menschen vor Ort sich nicht weiter maßlos ausdehnt. Es mag in der US-Führung ja auch von der meinerseits vermuteten „Generallinie“ abweichende Strömungen geben, die Russland gerne mit der Ukraine ein europäisches „Afghanistan“ verpassen möchten. Möge das seitens Putins oft reklamierte, aus der Geschichte gespeiste Bewusstsein von den Leiden des Krieges die Leitlinie geben, nicht in so eine Falle hinein zu tappen. Ein wenig Hoffnung gibt die Ankündigung ukrainisch-russischer Verhandlungen an der Grenze zu Weißrussland, denen Erfolg sehr zu wünschen ist.

China mag sich übrigens einerseits an der Seite Russlands stehend, doch auch diplomatisch andererseits als Moderator, mäßigend auf Russland einwirkend, profilieren, wie sich das auch durch die letzte Stimmenthaltung im UN-Sicherheitsrat andeutete. Das mag auch damit zu tun haben, dass für China die Frage einer Abspaltung von Landesteilen eine ganz besonders delikate Frage ist.

Der neue „Eiserne Vorhang“ vor der Fertigstellung!

Das Handeln des US-geführten Westens hat das neuerliche Fallen eines „Eisernen Vorhangs“ in Europa bewirkt. Hoffen wir, dass man mit dieser Situation nun allseits so vorsichtig umgeht, wie das im Allgemeinen in den Zeiten des ersten Kalten Krieges der Fall war, um die ganz große Katastrophe zu verhindern. Die jetzt erfolgte Ankündigung der Türkei, den Bosporus für Kriegsschiffe zu sperren, birgt nun weiteres, besorgniserregendes Konfliktpotential! Wir sollten alarmiert sein. Wie nötig wären gerade in Deutschland wieder Politiker wie Willy Brandt, der auch mitten im Kalten Krieg geschichtliche Demut in sein Handel einfließen ließ und mehr auf Ausgleich als auf Konfrontation setzte!

Große offene Fragen

All dies gesagt, gibt es dennoch große offene Fragen! Ja, der zweite „Eiserne Vorhang“ ist wohl gefallen. Den ersten Eisernen Vorhang hatte die Sowjetunion in defensiver Absicht gesenkt. Diesen zweiten Eisernen Vorhang hat der Westen in offensiver Absicht heruntergelassen. Gesellschaftlich scheint auch hier in Deutschland wie im ganzen Westen eine zweite „McCarthy-Aera“ auf uns zuzukommen.

Die Medien sind in hohem Maße „gleichgeschaltet“. Nachdenklichkeit und Differenzierung sind „out“. Ich möchte mit meiner berechtigten Gegenposition nicht nach gleichem Schema verfahren.

Marx schrieb in „Der_achtzehnte_Brumaire_des_Louis_Bonaparte“: „Hegel bemerkte irgendwo, daß alle großen weltgeschichtlichen Tatsachen und Personen sich sozusagen zweimal ereignen. Er hat vergessen, hinzuzufügen: das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce.“ Dabei ist sicher oft auch die Farce für viele Menschen gleichzeitig eine Tragödie.

Der erste „Eiserne Vorhang“ bestand für rund 45 Jahre. Der zweite wird wohl solange bestehen, wie die US-Machtelite ihre Macht behält und solange, wie Russland stark bleibt. Russlands Position zum aggressiven Verhalten des US-geführten Westens in der Ukraine kann in Vielem ihre Berechtigung nicht abgesprochen werden. Aber Recht zu haben, bedeutet noch nicht, Erfolg zu haben. Der „grosse_vaterlaendische_Krieg“ wurde durch eine große Geschlossenheit und Leidensbereitschaft gewonnen. Für fast jeden Menschen in der Sowjetunion war klar, es war ein Krieg auf Leben und Tod gegen den Gegner Nazi-Deutschland, den die USA so lange gewähren ließen, bis sie meinten, dass die Sowjetunion genügend geschwächt sei.

Auch wenn Putins Regierung nicht ohne Grund meinen mag, dass der Krieg gegen die stark faschistisch durchsetzten Kräfte in der Ukraine ein „kleiner vaterländischer Krieg“ sei, wird er nicht allen Menschen in Russland so erscheinen. Auch in Russland sind gerade die jungen Menschen nicht wenig vom Bild des „guten Lebens im Westen“ beeinflusst und sicher mehr an ihrem individuellen Wohlergehen orientiert, als an „großen geschichtlichen Auseinandersetzungen“. Sie werden sicher aber auf die Zahlen von in Särgen zurückkommenden russischen Soldaten schauen. So sehr die ausgedehnten Sanktionen auch die Bürger in den „kopflosen“ europäischen Vasallenstaaten der USA hart treffen werden, die Menschen in Russland werden sie wohl noch mehr treffen. Es mögen sich auch Spaltungen im politischen System Russlands auftun (was nicht nur „Träume“ der US-Machtelite sein mögen). Damit ist für die russische Regierung die Gefahr schwerer gesellschaftlicher Verwerfungen und schwindender Unterstützung nicht ausgeschlossen.

Es wird wohl sehr darauf ankommen, ob es der russischen Regierung gelingt, die Operationen zu begrenzen und den Krieg bald zu beenden (wozu es aber Verhandlungspartner braucht). Eine wichtige Frage ist dabei, wie bereit China einesteils ist, mäßigend auf Russland einzuwirken, und anderenteils, Russland bei den Folgen der Sanktionen ökonomisch zu unterstützen.

Ich habe hier das Leid dieses Krieges auf allen Seiten genügend angesprochen, um mich berechtigt gegen den Vorwurf des Zynismus verwahren zu können, möchte es aber klar aussprechen: angesichts der rücksichtslosen Weltherrschaftspläne der US-Machtelite wäre ein Zusammenbruch Russlands tatsächlich eine geopolitische Katastrophe! Die „Träume der USA von der zweiten Tot-Rüstung“ gegenüber Russland und China könnten langfristig dazu führen, dass sich die USA selbst tot rüsten, Russland aber wird vermeiden müssen, sich in der Ukraine selbst tot zu kämpfen.

Insgesamt ist es natürlich eine große Tragödie, dass in dieser Auseinandersetzung die Mittel „verbrannt“ werden, die dringend gebraucht würden, um die gewaltigen Probleme (Umwelt- und Klimaprobleme, soziale Probleme wie auch u.a. die Folgen der Corona-Pandemie), vor die die Menschen in aller Welt gestellt sind, anzugehen. Da kann man über die 100 Milliarden Euro, die die Bundesregierung in ihrer Verantwortungslosigkeit der Rüstung zur Verfügung stellen will, nur den Kopf schütteln!

Der Ukraine-Krieg ist, wie gesagt, ein Beben als Ergebnis der wachsenden Spannungen der letzten drei Jahrzehnte zwischen der US-Machtelite zusammen mit ihren europäischen Vasallen und Russland auf der anderen Seite. Es wird sich zeigen, ob es nur ein „Vorbeben“ ist, und ob – womöglich – noch gefährlichere Nachbeben folgen. Wir im Westen sollten mehr darauf schauen, was „unsere“ Machteliten zum Leiden der Menschen weltweit beitragen (und gegen ihr gefährliches „Spiel“ aufstehen) als Putin zu dämonisieren und zu verdammen.

Comment: The Next Cold War and the New Arms Race

It is obvious that the U.S. Power Elite hopes to repeat the „Arms Race“ that brought the former Eastern Bloc to its knees by further expanding NATO against Russia and continuing to encircle China. These people are probably not insane enough to really want a big war – as dangerous as this „game“ is – but they just think that such a race would ruin their two supposed adversaries economically. And it is also clear, the „Anglo-Saxon racism“ does not allow them to tolerate other peoples and societies „at eye level“. And of course, the permanent „westward expansion“ (now seen from Germany to the Far East) is embedded in the „State DNA“ of the USA.

What might strategists in the Russian and Chinese governments be thinking? Possibly they do think: „go ahead, ruin your own societies and your own countries by this madness!“

Of course, it must additionaly be remembered that the U.S. and NATO military is the single biggest factor in the climate and ecological disaster. And the neoliberal NATO societies will unquestionably have a harder time dealing with these problems than China and Russia.

Thus only the conclusion remains: as ingenious as the US Power Elite acts in its global devilries in detail, in the overall strategy one must regard them as madmen! If they do not lead the world into an overall catastrophe, they will lead their area of the world in any case into the ruin. For the European vassals the question arises: together into the ruin?!

Kommentar: der neue Kalte Krieg und ein weiterer Rüstungswettlauf

Es ist wohl offensichtlich, die US-Machtelite hofft, mit weiterer Ausdehnung der NATO gegen Russland und fortgesetzter Einkreisung Chinas die Nummer mit der „Tot-Rüstung“, die den damaligen Ostblock in die Knie zwang, noch einmal zu wiederholen. Diese Leute sind wohl nicht wahnsinnig genug, wirklich einen großen Krieg zu wollen – so gefährlich, wie dieses „Spiel“ auch ist – aber sie denken eben, dass so ein Wettlauf ihre beiden vermeintlichen Kontrahenten wirtschaftlich ruinieren würde. Und es ist auch klar, der „angelsächsische Rassismus“ erlaubt es ihnen nicht, andere Völker und Gesellschaften „auf Augenhöhe“ zu ertragen. Und natürlich, die permanente „West-Ausdehnung“ (nun von Deutschland aus gesehen) in den Fernen Osten ist in der „Staats-DNA“ der USA verankert.

Was mögen da Strategen in der russischen und chinesischen Regierung vielleicht denken? Möglicherweise denken sie doch: „macht ruhig, ruinieren werdet ihr eure Gesellschaften und eure Länder!“ Dabei ist natürlich zu bedenken, dass das US- und NATO-Militär der größte einzelne Faktor der Klima- und Öko-Katastrophe ist. Und mit diesen Problemen werden die neoliberalen NATO-Gesellschaften fraglos auch schwerer fertig werden als China und Russland.

So bleibt nur der Schluss: so raffiniert die US-Machtelite in ihren globalen Teufeleien im Einzelnen agiert, in der Gesamt-Strategie muss man sie als Wahnsinnige ansehen! Wenn sie die Welt nicht in eine Gesamt-Katastrophe führen, werden sie ihren Bereich der Welt auf jeden Fall in den Ruin führen. Für die europäischen Vasallen ergibt sich die Frage: gemeinsam in den Ruin?!

Zusatz für die deutschen Leser: Nichts aus der Geschichte gelernt?!

US “Schizophrenia” is the Symptom of War Within the US Power Elite

A few weeks ago Trump_and_Putin_met, indicating a more constructive approach by the US Administration towards bilateral issues with Russia. Now the sanction-regime against Russia is again_to_be_expanded, based on the bogus “Skripal_Case”, it might inflict economic_sufferings_on_Russia for some time. Is this a case of schizophrenia? We have to be careful with medical, psychological or psychiatric comparisons if countries, even if Governments or Power Elites are concerned.

No doubt, the US Power Elite is united in its desire for world domination as well as in its nightmares. But there are deep splits within the US Power Elite, as analyzed in this previous article. The splits concern strategies and tactics to gain the desired world domination and the way to deal with the US Power Elite´s nightmare_of_the_Eurasian_Cooperation. In a simple formulation: whom to put on top of the „Eating List“, who comes second, who third. The different revenues of different parts of the Power Elite play an important role as well. The deep split surfaced also some years ago under the Obama Administration concerning the option_of_an_Iran_war (which Israel is very eager to wage).

The fact that Trump is still in office and even alive despite the permanent fire on him by US politicians and the mainstream media shows that he might also have a faction of the Power Elite behind him, indicated for example by his close contact with Kissinger (who stands for the school of „Realism“ within the Power Elite). But he had to compromise a lot with the Neocons, shown by inclusion of the_notorious_Neocon_Bolton (representing the Deep State´s long_enmity_toward_the_people_of_Iran) and the like into US Government. And an important part of the British Power Elite as well as Israel are „on_his_neck“.

When it comes to Iran, Trump´s announcement „away from regime change wars“ is also forgotten, likewise in the case of Venezuela and Nicaragua.

The fact is: as for the most important field of US politics, the US-Russian relation, including the danger of a military confrontation that could lead to mankind´s extinction, US policy seems paralyzed. The Neocon faction might know on one side (and they are bypassing the US President many times via their „Deep_State“ apparatus) that they cannot win an open military confrontation with Russia, so what is on their agenda is forcing Russia – and China – on their knees by an arms race (which they might have lost already) in combination with parts of the „Soft Power“ faction and their economic war by infiltration and sanctions. And the Neocons´ henchmen like Bolton are right within the Government.

The weakest „opponent“ with respect to the feared „Eurasian Cooperation“ is Europe, and they will attack Europe on various levels in which Trump and his administration seems willing to help a lot. Trump has already declared_economic_war_against_Europe.

Europe must know it could quite be on top of the „Eating List“ in the sense that the US Power will try to blow the ill constructed EU with the ill constructed Euro (which is nevertheless a „dangerous“ competing currency) up! The battle_is_on! Possibly Europe_may_be_the_main_front_of_the_hybrid_war.

It is up to the real Left in Europe to expose what is going on and to take the chance to push for a real socialist movement against Trans-Atlantic domination, against the imperial destruction of Europe´s surrounding, against the final expropriation of the European masses and against the ecologic destruction of this world!

Die US-Schizophrenie ist Symptom des Krieges innerhalb der US-Machtelite

Vor ein paar Wochen trafen_sich_Trump_und_Putin und dies deutete auf eine konstruktivere Haltung der US-Regierung gegenüber bilateralen Fragen mit Russland hin. Jetzt soll das Sanktionsregime_gegen_Russland_erneut_ausgeweitet werden, unter dem lächerlichen Vorwand_des_Skripal_Falles. Ist das ein Fall von Schizophrenie? Wir müssen mit medizinischen, psychologischen oder psychiatrischen Einschätzungen aber sehr vorsichtig sein, wenn es sich um Länder, um Regierungen oder um Machteliten handelt.

Zweifellos ist die US-Machtelite in ihrem Streben nach Weltherrschaft wie auch in_ihrem_Albtraum, nämlich der angestrebten „Eurasischen Kooperation, vereint. Aber es gibt tiefe Spaltungen innerhalb der US-Machtelite, wie sie in diesem früheren Artikel_analysiert_wurden. Die Spaltungen betreffen Strategien und Taktiken, um die gewünschte Weltherrschaft und den Umgang mit dem Alptraum zu erreichen. In einer einfachen Formulierung: wen soll man an erster Stelle auf den „Speiseplan“ setzen, wer kommt als zweiter, wer als dritter. Die unterschiedlichen Revenuen der verschiedenen Teile der Machtelite spielen ebenfalls eine wichtige Rolle. Die tiefe Spaltung tauchte auch vor einigen Jahren unter der Obama-Regierung bezüglich der Option eines Iran-Krieges auf (den Israel unbedingt will).

Die Tatsache, dass Trump trotz des permanenten Feuers von US-Politikern und den Mainstream-Medien immer noch im Amt ist (und lebt), zeigt, dass er wohl auch eine Fraktion der Machtelite hinter sich hat, wie durch seinen engen_Kontakt_zu_Kissinger, der für die Schule des „Realismus“ innerhalb der Machtelite steht, zu vermuten ist. Kissinger mag Trump zu_dieser_Strategie_geraten_haben.

Aber er musste aber viele Kompromisse mit den Neocons eingehen, was durch die Aufnahme von Bolton (der_unbedingt_Krieg_gegen_den_Iran_will) und seinesgleichen in die US-Regierung deutlich wird. Und ein wichtiger Teil der britischen Machtelite sowie Israel „sitzen ihm im Nacken“, besonders Netanyahu_will_Krieg_gegen_den_Iran.

Auch in Bezug auf den Iran ist Trumps Ankündigung „weg von Regime-Change-Kriegen“ ebenso vergessen wie_zu_Venezuela und Nicaragua.

Fakt ist: Was das wichtigste Feld der US-Politik betrifft, die amerikanisch-russischen Beziehungen, einschließlich der Gefahr einer militärischen Konfrontation, die zum Aussterben der Menschheit führen könnte, scheint die US-Politik faktisch gelähmt zu sein. Die neokonservative Fraktion wird auf der einen Seite (und sie umgehen den US-Präsidenten viele Male über ihren „Deep State“-Apparat) wissen, dass man eine offene militärische Konfrontation mit Russland nicht_gewinnen_kann. Was auf ihrer Agenda steht, ist der Versuch, Russland – und China – durch ein weiteres Wettrüsten (das sie aber schon verloren haben könnten) auf die Knie zu zwingen, in Verbindung mit Teilen der „Soft Power“ -Fraktion und ihrem Wirtschaftskrieg durch Infiltration und Sanktionen. Und die Schergen der Neocons wie Bolton sind mitten in der Regierung.

Der schwächste „Gegner“ in Bezug auf die gefürchtete „eurasische Kooperation“ ist Europa, und sie werden Europa auf verschiedenen Ebenen angreifen, wobei Trump und seine Administration sicher gar nicht alles wissen, was_der_Tiefe_Staat_anstellt, aber bereit sind, sich intensiv zu beteiligen.

Europa muss wissen, dass es ganz oben auf dem „Speisplan“ stehen könnte, in dem Sinne, dass die US-Regierung versuchen wird, die schlecht konstruierte EU mit dem schlecht konstruierten Euro (der dennoch eine „gefährliche“ Konkurrenzwährung ist) zu_sprengen! Die letzten 17 Jahre mit dem „Krieg gegen den Terror“ sind in_hohem_Grade_zu_Lasten_Europas gelaufen.

Es liegt an der wirklichen Linken in Europa, zu enthüllen, was vor sich geht, und die Chance zu ergreifen, eine echte sozialistische Bewegung gegen die transatlantische Vorherrschaft, gegen die imperiale Zerstörung der europäischen Umgebung, gegen die endgültige Enteignung der Masse der Europäer und gegen die ökologische Zerstörung dieser Welt anzuführen!

In deed the mainstream media news and more so the statements of Western politicians about the alleged poisoning of the former Russian/British double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia by Russia leave me breathless! Not because I would believe that the Russian government respectively secret services would be the perpetrators, but because the case shows that the Western powers (that shouldn´t be) are so sure of how much they were successful at turning the public into a bunch of dump fools! It seems William_Casey_is_triumphing.

Always the basic question: to whose benefit?

If a crime has been committed the basic question is always: who is benefitting? It is obvious since long that important parts of the US Power Elite are doing a lot to encircle Russia and bring it to its knees or at least weaken the country. At the same time Russia and China are trying to create the Eurasian Cooperation (based on the “New Silk Road”) with Europe, which would be beneficial for European industry as well. This is in fact the “nightmare_of_the_US_Power_Elite”, because they would be “out of the game”. Moreover there is the Nord_Stream pipeline project. And the US Power Elite tries by all possible means to prevent those projects. Everything is done to force European countries into their sanction system against Russia. Should we believe that Putin would initiate or allow such attack on British soil – even short time also before the Russian elections? Do we think the man is stupid?

Actually that US Power Elite tries to build a barrier against the Eurasian cooperation efforts out of chaos and war from Libya trough Africa and Middle East into Ukraine, a real ring of fire (many times with the help of stupid European governments) around Europe. In Syria Russia has spoilt that game to a great extend to the anger of that Power Elite. It is obvious that a well orchestrated campaign is going on to demonize Russia and Putin to the Western public

Following a Well Established Concept?

Everyone can check what “thinkers” in the US are ready to apply against opponents by having a look at the planned “Operation_Northwoods”, which was stopped by Kennedy (that might have contributed to his “death sentence”). Well known is the “Gulf of Tonkin Incident”. Notorious are the (Neocon) Think Tanks with their ideas and concepts even ready to to_wage_bio_warfare against parts of the world. People without dubious affiliations to the existing powers who have studied Nine Eleven in detail have no doubts about it being an “inside job”. The “Deep_State” of the US has no morals. They have no problems with sacrificing their own assets, either because those ones are in danger to run out of order, or their death could be blamed on opponents. The actual case is almost a one to one copy of_what_they_did_to_Litvinenko.

“Perfect Crime” or Purposeful Contradictions?

With many of those incidents which could be classed as ”setups” it´s obvious that the Western perpetrators do not even aim at the “perfect crime”. It would have been possible that they could have faked “real hard evidence”, but they didn´t. Instead they present lousy assumptions or – like in the case of Nine Eleven – unburned passports from an exploding airplane. Are they just careless or does this also display a concept? Is it also possibly aiming at a “social selection”? There could be the aim to “sort out”: there are the masses of people cut off from detailed – also alternative sources – of information considered to be neglected, there are those ones who could ask questions, but quickly get afraid to look into the abyss, since it is preferable to live in the “good Empire”, there are those ones who want to get ahead with their carrier but know quickly that they have to “sell their soul to the devil” and will parrot the lies. And there are those ones who´re not ready to turn “blue into orange”. Those are the ones on whom the Empire and its henchmen have to keep an eye!

For this concept Nine Eleven can also be taken as a blueprint. All this might follow the concept of “cognitive_dissonance”. And the conspirators are always calling the skeptics “Conspiracy_Theorists”, which has become a synonym for “mad person”.

Is it also a Warning to their European Vassals?

Again and again the US Empire is playing with the “Strategy of Tension” to put the governments of the “allied” states in Europe (or, more precise: vassal states) under pressure. But politicians might also face personal threats as is indicated for example by the murder of Olof_Palme. Killing is even propagated by the former_acting_CIA_director_Morell. Could this also be a warning to European politicians? “We can get you as well!” “Intelligence” operations can be multifunctional.

Europe, See the Signs at the Wall!

The People of Europe have to learn an important lesson before it might be too late: The US Empire wants to make Europe their battle ground against Russia, it may be economic, it may probably be more. USA: The Efforts to Cover the Struggle for Social Justice and Peace, to Cover the Class Struggle by the “Race War” Concept

No doubt, the US President has suprematist tendencies. No doubt, part of his followers are sick by Racism and ultra Nationalism. No doubt also that Racism is still a severe problem in the US and part of the West. At the same time there is the overall conflict between the US Power Elite and the World and the common US citizens as well. This conflict is a socio-economic one, but also endangers human life as such, it is a class conflict. The struggle for peace and social justice can in the end not be divided.

But division is the strategy of the Power Elite. They fared “well” with it for many, many decades, using “Race Conflicts”. It was mostly after the end of the Cold War that they changed tactics and declared the “Post Racial” era has begun. They needed “gun fodder” from all walks of life. But with the “overstretching” in their imperial wars and the economic stress from that on the US society the social conflicts sharpened (financial crisis hitting also many Whites) and people get more and more afraid for even nuclear confrontations.

So it seems that the Power Elite turns back to provocations for example by police_brutality_against_Black_Americans in order to sharpen the conflicts. This is the “Strategy_of_Tension”, also used for many decades. And they push from different sides. My impression is that via Soros_financed_structures the “Powers that (shouldn´t) be” also do also something to push leftist groups into the direction of eliminating Class Struggle by “Race Struggle”. And more dangerous: they´re presenting the Clinton gang (behind whom the Neocons_organize_their_Fascism) as the “lesser evil”. Surely many Whites can still easily be infected by “the fear for race war”, since they know what has been done to African Americans and still is done. They know how Europeans conquered the World. In fact White Americans are “illegal Immigrants” to “their country”, but the struggle for peace and justice could hardly be won without them.

World Politics and Geo-Strategy

Concept for Lectures on the Topic

In six parts, total duration of 12 hours

for Individuals and Oranizations to book (see below)

Even many well trained people have the impression that they are not able to understand World politics and see it as a total chaos. This is at least partly due to the fact that that the mainstream media are not providing sound background information. A helpful overview is designed to show the basic lines of how World History has developed and the principle guidelines of the various power elites in this World. This should be done in six sessions of two hours each.

Part 1: “From Cradle to Coffin”

When “Modern Man” left his cradle Africa mankind possibly counted many less than men found death during WW I, possibly even less than 100,000! A massive increase of population was the result of people settling in large settlements and the coming up of “High Cultures” from the Nile Valley over China to Middle and South America. The development of Africa and Asia was far ahead of Europe for quite a long time. Only with the end of the 15^th Century the relation changed and Europe started seizing world dominance via development of seafaring techniques starting from the Mediterranean and adoption of gunpowder from China. This was very much to the detriment of many cultures.

Enormous numbers of people felt victim to this development. North America, large parts of Middle and South America as well as Australia were emptied from their original inhabitants and occupied by people of European descent. Those not killed were pushed into remote areas and robbed of any perspective. Slave trade and colonial exploitation allowed Europe the accumulation of enormous resources which made the “Industrial Revolution” possible and allowed further conquests and made Europe the absolute power centre of this world. This development left millions of people in Africa dead, either directly butchered or victims of exploitation and starvation. Especially Congo paid with eight to ten million victims for Western mobility and electrification. But the technological progress also fostered military competition between the European powers. The end of Europe´s dominance started with the monstrous World War I and was finalized with war´s end.

Part 2: The Turning Around of the Relations

With the end of the First World War the economic dynamics had to a large extend been shifted to the North American continent. This European settlement had become the new centre of industrial development after the crimes on the original inhabitants and with the “help” of brutal slave exploitation. The hope of many workers in the industrialized countries turned east to the big socialist experiment brought into existence by the October Revolution.

The relation between the sea power Great Britain and its “daughter”, the USA started to be reversed, finally manifested in World War II. At the same time the struggle between Sea and Land Powers got a new push, described already by the British Geographer Mackinder at the beginning of that Century. In East Asia Japan as the first non European (Sea) Power had managed to jump into the industrial age, a prelude to the rise of Asia as a new center of World development. Already the deadly struggle of the European powers in WW I had inspired the spirit of resistance against Colonialism and exploitation in the Southern Hemisphere and had put the topic of Democracy on World´s agenda. With no little support of part of US capitalists the Nazis won power in Germany. Especially the Cooperation of Ford and General Motors with Nazi Germany made the “Blitz” possible, finally pushing GB as strongest US competitor from its “Place No 1” and damaging the Soviet Union severely (20 million dead).

With the monstrous German crimes against the European Jews and other minorities the question of Anti-Racism gained momentum on the side of the allies in confrontation with the “Axis”. They employed this topic in their war efforts but the Western colonial powers as well as the officially “non colonial” power USA would by measured by this standard also after the war.

Western military threats to the Soviet revolution already in the 20ies and the Nazi invasion had pushed the authoritarian degeneration of Stalinism and done great damage to the Socialist experiment as well as to its reputation among Western workers, no matter, that Soviet civilians and soldiers had paid the highest price for the defeat of Germany´s Nazi regime.

War technology had been revolutionized. Warfare on land and on sea was decided from the air. The age of nuclear bombs had started.

Part 3: Cold War and Decolonization

The Soviet Union, heavily damaged and having lost more than 20 million lives, emerged as West´s opponent from the Second World War. Already the dropping of two nuclear bombs on Japan was rather a Signal to “Uncle Joe”, Stalin, than a real military necessity (and maybe made possible by Eurocentric racism). The US, not being damaged by war inside its own territory, had become the “work bench of the World”. It had also to a great extended gained dominance over the Western colonial powers, almost astonishingly meeting most resistance to this by France. Important was also the Dollar hegemony based on the agreements of “Bretton Woods”.

The movements for independence, justice and democracy, fired by the promises of “Anti-Racism” and democracy from the Second World War turned the “Third World” into Western consciousness. Charismatic and visionary leaders of these movements gave important impulses and a face to this development in Western media. Many times Western secret services murdered them like in the case of Lumumba. Probably the existence of the Soviet Union saved many African countries from paying a much higher blood price for the nominal independence.

The struggle for continued Western dominance in East and South East Asia was extremely bloody (Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia). In many places Colonialism was just replaced by “Neocolonialism”. Henchmen of the worst kind were the guarantee for the West to profit from the Southern resources instead of the local population. Despite the terrible German crimes the Western part of Germany (the Federal Republic of Germany) was soon allowed to participate, to a great extend because of its function in the Cold War.

Also very dramatic was (and is) the struggle for the Near and Middle East recourses, additionally fired by the foundation of Israel. Saudi Arabia (important for the US principle “Oil for Dollar), Israel and Turkey became prolonged arms of the US, many times with tendencies for independent goals and actions. But the US was also confronted inside for the blatant anti-black racism.

Pending over Mankind´s existence was always the danger of the “Nuclear Holocaust”, even if only coming by a technical false alarm!

Part 4: Democracy or Rule of the “Military Industrial Complex”

Of the later and the dangers post by it the 34^th US President Eisenhower, surely no “Leftist”, was warning in his famous farewell speech. Also Kennedy in a speech short before his assassination warned of secret policy and conspiracies! US author Fukujama praised the “End of History” when worldwide Democracy of the Western type would dominate. Does Democracy in the US instead vanish in front of our eyes?

Crucial in deed for the understanding of World politics is the formation of the US Power Elite and its divisions. There are many indications that Kennedy was the victim of one of its fractions. Wealth and power was more and more concentrating in the US. Even in the early 30ies there was a coup attempt of part of the US Power Elite, the so called “Business Plot” (revealed before it could be started), whose organizers shared in fact a lot of their ideology with the Nazis. Even the Euthanasia concept of the Nazis got quite some inspiration from the US.

Short after Kennedy´s times the two fractions of the US Power Elite were dubbed “Traders” and “Warriors”. Both are aiming at World dominance, the Traders want to reach this by economic power and diplomacy, the Warriors attempting this by military force at a high risk. In fact Kennedy was opposing the Warriors´ dangerous games especially in the confrontation with Soviet backed Cuba. He solved the Cuba crisis by agreeing to pull US nuclear weapons out of Turkey (at the Soviet Unions gate), very much to the annoyance of the warrior fraction. The details of Kennedy´s assassination, revealed to a great extend by serious investigative US journalists are breath taking. Even Nixon was so much worried about the possibility that part of the Power Elite could end a President´s life that he insisted in vain in the CIA passing their files about Kennedy´s assassination to him. It seems that Watergate was mainly a “false flag operation” to get Nixon out of office and stop him from further insisting.

No doubt, Nixon and Kissinger were themselves a plague to the World manifested for example in the Pinochet coup in Chile and the following murderous regime, in the Vietnam War as well as in other crimes. Most of these deeds was prepared in secrecy and hidden to the formal democratic procedure. It seems secret policy is on its march forward!

Part 5: the Run for Resources, “Cyber Space”, “Islamism” and the „Eurasian Cooperation“

More and more dramatic becomes the struggle for control of energy sources and raw materials. The limitation of the resources also enters the public discussion. “Pic Oil” (the maximum of oil extraction) is presently hidden behind (politically motivated) high extraction rates, low oil prices and “Fracking”, but well present in the political “Think Tanks” of the Power Elites. Of great importance are also “Rare Minerals”, like Coltan – so important for computers and mobile telephones, having cost the life of eight to ten million Congolese during the last eighteen years.

The fantastic development of the computer technology and the global web has opened immense economic possibilities. It has brought a rationalization of production, not being dreamt of at all half a Century ago. It is dominated by US technology and has opened uncounted backdoors for US “intelligence” via Microsoft ruling the IT world. But others are not sleeping and sabotaging by US and Israel for example via “Stuxnet” (a computer worm) of Iran´s uranium centrifuges could be answered. Much of the Western infrastructure is totally depending on a well working “digital world”. The societies of industrialized countries would hardly survive an extended “Cyber War”.

The strategy of the US is the “Free Trade Religion” to prevent the countries of the Southern Hemisphere from own industrialization and to condemn them to be eternal raw material deliverers and at the same time to prevent them from free choice of other trading partners than Western. The rise of the “BRICS” sates (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is not to the taste of the US Power Elite at all. Also the possibility of a getting nearer between the main technological competitor EU and the energy giant Russia is very much disliked. A lot has been done to prevent the BRICS states from getting to the Southern resources which are regarded by Western elites following the word: “how does our oil get under their sand?!”.

In this context the question of “Islamism” arises. Being nourished by the West and their Saudi and Qatar allies against secular national movements in the Islamic World and against those days Soviet Union “Muslim Brothers”, Hamas, Al Qaeda and ISIS have been pushed. At the same time their “terrorist” tendencies “legitimize” militarization and mass surveillance and endanger the life of ordinary people everywhere and Governments running “out of line”.

The real nightmare for the US Power Elite are the efforts on the side of China and Russia for an Eurasian Cooperation manifested in the „Iron Silk Road“ and the „Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank“, as well as the efforts to break the oil binding to Dollar. It appears plausible that a lot of US Politics with its support for militant Islamic fundamentalism and Terrorism as well as the support for Fascist policy in the Ukraine is aiming at building a barrier against those efforts.

The US Power Elite has fully adopted the concepts of the British Geographer Halford Mackinder from the beginning of the last Century. They know that  progress of that Eurasian Cooperation would reduce their impact on the World considerably. Indeed speeches of the Neo-Conservative George Friedman (Statfor) would support this thesis.

Part 6: Political Conspiracy: “Theory” or Reality?

Since times immemorial politics is a game where aims and purposes are tried to hide. Powerful people always want to use ordinary people in their “good will”. Subjects and citizens were often lied at and made support actions which they´d have rejected vehemently if knowing the true reasons and purposes. In modern times there are examples to be found which leaves one to fear for the future.

The Nazis were famous for “false flag operations”, the “Reichstag” fire (most probably) and definitely the attack on the German radio station Gleiwitz purposely assigned to Poland as the pretext to the Nazi attack on that country marking the beginning of WW II. Related operations are accidents presented as sabotage like the explosion of the “USS Maine”, being the beginning of the war between the US and Spain. Also pure inventions or naval confrontations which are “relocated” are produced by the powerful, as this is the case with the “Tonkin Incident”. On the other side there is the downing of airplanes covered as accidents like the case of the plane with Rwanda´s and Burundi´s presidents on board and many other “accidents”.

A classic case is also “Operation Northwoods”, planned by the “Joint Staff” of the US forces after the failed “Bay of Pigs Invasion” in Cuba by CIA and Exile Cubans. The planned operation included terror attacks on US installations home and abroad and places in the US with people dead and injured, fake hijacking of an airplane and downing it, all meant to be blamed on Cuba as “reason” for a full scale invasion on that island. Kennedy stopped the madness and didn´t live long afterwards. Sad fame with “insiders” also “enjoy” NATO´s “Secret Armies”, named “Gladio” after its Italian variant, well documented by Swiss Historian Daniele Ganser. The bombing of the Bologna Main station is ascribed to that organization, meant to be blamed on leftists.

In fact much more critical discussion about these Western operations is to be found in the US than for example in Germany and other European countries. But Democracy only functions with well informed citizens not trusting in cheap narratives of the powerful.

Noam Chomsky, renowned linguist and political analyst, has put it very well in a sarcastic way: “Terrorism is always what the others do!” (Unfortunately he is silent on some intriguing questions).
