Obama Playing the Super-Zionist

Not only after I´ve been reading this article – http://mjayrosenberg.com/2013/03/25/obama-makes-clear-he-is-an-eretz-yisrael-man/ – but since a longer time I´m asking myself whether Obama is thinking at all of a bloody parallel to the Zionist experiment to be found in History? Does he ever think of the failure of the “Back to Africa” movement and the American Colonization Society, partly inspired by white Abolitionists and partly by African Americans founded on the refusal of Mainstream Society in the US (and GB) to really accept people of African descent in their societies which led to the dreadful Liberia and Sierra Leone experience? In case of Liberia and Sierra Leone it was the neglect of locality and African diversity, in the case of Israel it was the neglect of 2000 years. But in the case of Israel the self restriction to the borders of 1967 might have done “the trick” to save the experiment, whereas the greed to “get it all” might spoil everything in course of history. I tend to the word: listen Israel, learn from the German historical experience with Hubris! I have the fear that not only Israel´s birth is the outcome of Germany´s monumental crimes, but Israel might also be the socio-psychological clone of Germany! Great Albert Einstein and Hanna Arendt together with a number of other progressive people of Jewish descent were clear enough to see that danger on the example of Menachem Begin and brave enough to express that in their famous letter to NYT (1). If you read a collection of Zionist quotations the fear is growing that there is an ideological tide swelling in Israel which bears elements characteristic for Fascism (2). Instead of warning that country and reminding it of History, Obama is declaring unconditional eternal support.

By and large Obama´s administration is the expression of the “Soft Power” fraction of the US Power Elite (as Orwellian as the name is since also those chaps are not shy to strangulate whole economies), but it seems that the Neocon fraction is so much under pressure that they do everything to pass that pressure to Obama & administration:

It seems very obvious that Obama has no love for Israel´s Prime Minister Netanyahu who did all he could to support Romney but it appears also that Obama is stricken by the fear to become a second Kennedy (3)!

Chinua Achebe: A Great Loss, but Africa Keeps his Heritage, Hopefully!

At the end of the seventies a good friend from Ghana gave a book to me as a birthday present. It was “A Man of the People” by Chinua Achebe, the great author from Nigeria. Then started my close encounter with this giant of African literature, better to say of world literature (1)! I´ve read the book at least six times by now, but needless to say that I also read the other three books of that brilliant cycle from pre colonial days and the appearance of the “palefaces”, “Things Fall Apart”, over the struggles with the occupant, “Arrow of God” and the time shortly before independence, “No Longer at Ease” to the book mentioned at the beginning and the time after independence. They always kept me breathless to the last page. The poem collection “Beware Soul Brother” got only into my hand some seven years ago. I feel shame but also obliged to admit that Anthills of the Savannah and “An Image of Africa: Racism in Conrad’s „Heart of Darkness“ and other works are still on my “have to read” list!

After all it is “A Man of the People” which always has touched me most. As for a guy (now as old as 65) born in Hamburg you might suspect that the scenery of that time with the colonized habits might be nearer to me, but the reasons are others. Firstly it reflects the time of “new start” which I remember too well, since I was absorbed and integrated into the African Community of Hamburg 1968 with the beginning of my sociological studies. The optimism and the feeling of endangered independence were also vibrating in that African Diaspora in Germany. Secondly the book shows how “European corruption” (I prefer to call what is in Western media generally dubbed “African corruption” so, since it has been brought to Africa from West) is undermining the new won “Independence”, which was never meant to be real independence by the West! Thirdly the presentation of school life as given in the first part of “A Man of the People” is so authentic because it reflexes Achebe´s own experiences as a teacher in the beginning of his professional career. The book is always like a time machine to me because it presents the mental atmosphere of this mixture between optimism of people somehow at the beginning of their adult life and skepticism of the future seemingly so much dominated by the West which was so characteristic of my young days in Hamburg´s African community.

Honestly spoken, as much as Wole Soyinka has deserved the Nobel Prize for Literature, I always felt Achebe should have been the first African Author to get it, irrespective of the fact that if I´d have known him personally I´d have quarreled with him during the days of the “Biafra war” as I used to quarrel with two other good Igbo friends about this imperialist inspired war. But to hell with the Nobel Prize, Africa would have the capacity to establish its own system of honoring “men and women of pen”!

It should be mentioned that apart from my deep personal friendships and literary enthusiasm I have more connections to Nigeria. My little artistic efforts (http://tinyurl.com/3kyjdo6) have been inspired a lot by the art from ancient Nigeria, especially from the art of the Nok people, produced around 500 BC (2) and more even by the art works from Ife (3). Moreover I had and have the pleasure to see a young Nigerian artist, Burxy Sule (http://tinyurl.com/8cs9pz5) rising to wonderful artistic brilliance. With all these close ties I feel more obliged to say to Nigeria: sorry, sorry, you great country, I deeply feel with you!

Lateinamerika und „Habemus Papam“: was soll zugedeckt werden?

Nicht wenige am Weltgeschehen Interessierte haben sich beim Rücktritt von Papst Benedikt XVI. gefragt, was die Gründe hierfür über die verkündeten hinaus gewesen sein mögen. War auch er in einige der klerikalen Skandalthemen, seien es sexuelle, finanzielle oder ähnliche verwickelt, sei es auch nur im Sinne oberster Verantwortung als Pontifex Maximus, der es nicht schaffte, dem Treiben Einhalt zu gebieten. Hierüber soll an dieser Stelle nicht weiter spekuliert werden. Aber:

„Habemus Papam“

Nun ist ein neuer Papst “gewählt”, ein “Lateinamerikaner”! Einige Euphorie rauscht durch die westliche Presse, auch ein Grund für Lateinamerika und die südliche Hemisphäre, euphorisch zu sein? Hat die sogenannte Wahl nur etwas mit geistlichen und seelsorgerischen Aspekten zu tun?

Man sollte sich einiger Dinge erinnern! Es gibt viele Verbindungen zwischen der katholischen Kirche und den mächtigen Eliten des Westens. Johannes Paul II. spielte nicht nur eine wichtige Rolle in seinem Heimatland Polen beim Zusammenbruch des Ostblocks, sondern auch bei den Bemühungen der US Machtelite, das vom Sowjetsystem „inspirierte“ polnische System nicht in eine Wirtschaftsdemokratie verwandeln zu lassen, sondern das polnische Volkseigentum in die Hände entfesselten Neoliberalismus geraten zu lassen, entsprechend dem Schema, dass Naomi Klein in „Die Schock-Strategie“ so treffend beschreibt.

Man sollte nicht glauben, dass die Kardinäle nur nach religiösen Gesichtspunkten wählen würden. Der Machtapparat insbesondere der USA, die Geheimdienste, kennen ihr „Privatleben“ sehr genau und haben genug „Einsicht“ darein, um in hohem Maße „dirigieren“ zu können, was vor sich geht! Wenn man also um die skrupellosen Einflussmethoden auf die Kirche und durch sie auf die Gesellschaft weiß (wie sie sich z. B. in der „P2“ – Propaganda Due), muss man sich fragen: warum jetzt ein „lateinamerikanischer“ Papst (der übrigens italienische Eltern hatte)? Und man falle nicht in die Grube: „die Mehrheit der Katholiken lebt ja in Lateinamerika“! Die Mächtigen nehmen keine Rücksicht auf Mehrheiten, sie „rechnen“ höchstens mit ihnen.

Die Antwort könnte sehr einfach sein: Lateinamerika unternimmt sehr große Anstrengungen, sich aus der Umklammerung durch den „Großen Bruder“, die Machtelite der USA, zu winden! Linke Regierungen sind auf dem Vormarsch, herausragende politische Führungsfiguren erlangen Kultstatus. Eine große Persönlichkeit ist soeben gestorben und es hängen Fragen in der Luft (http://tinyurl.com/ad9xpug). Die Idee, die Ressourcen eines Landes zur Ernährung seiner Bewohner zu nutzen, greift um sich. Auf der anderen Seite ist der Katholizismus eben in Lateinamerika tief verwurzelt. Mit einem neuen Papst aus dieser Weltregion, der für seine Willfährigkeit der „Macht“ gegenüber während der argentinischen Militärjunta bekannt ist (http://www.stuttgarter-zeitung.de/inhalt.franziskus-und-die-militaerjunta-die-zwei-gesichter-des-neuen-papstes.cf93d61c-ea30-48be-889d-953b1f4b4e81.html), könnte sich der „Große Bruder“ Chancen ausrechnen, die Lateinamerikaner ein wenig von „gefährlichen Ideen“ wegzuführen!

Habemus Papam: A Cover Up?!

A new Pope has been „elected“, a “Latin American”! The Western Press is in euphoric mood, do Latin America and the Southern Hemisphere have reason to be euphoric too? Has the so called election only to do with clerical needs and demands?

One should remember a number of things! There are many links between the Catholic Church and the mighty and powerful Elites in the West. Pope John Paul II played an important role not only in the crumbling of the East Block especially in his country of birth, Poland, but also in the efforts of US Power Elite not have the Soviet inspired system of Poland to be transformed into an economic democracy but to apply “The Shock Doctrine” on the people of Poland in order to implant neoliberal Capitalism and take the property of the Polish people into capitalist hands.

Don´t believe that the Cardinals are electing the Pope only according to religious points of view. The power machinery, the secret services, know quite well about the “private” life of them and has enough insights to direct what´s going on! So, if knowing about the unscrupulous methods and influences on the church and through that institution on society (manifested for example in the Propaganda Due, P2), one has to ask oneself: why a Pope from Latin America now?! And don´t fall into the trap of the mainstream media: “well, the majority of Catholics are living there”! No one in power cares for the majority but is calculating with them.

The answer could be quite simple: Latin America is making great efforts to wind itself out of the grip of “Big Brother”, out of the grip of the US Power Elite! Leftist governments are on the march. Outstanding figures are almost gaining cult status. One great personality in that struggle has just passed away and questions are in the air (http://tinyurl.com/atrxa4n). The idea of using the countries´ recourses to feed their people is spreading. On the other side the Catholic believe is running high in that region of the world. With a new Pope who is known for his obedience to power as it has been proven during the time of the military junta in Argentina (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/mar/14/pope-francis-argentina-military-junta) Big Brother might harbor the hope to divert Latin Americans from “dangerous ideas”!

Hugo Chavez tot! Ich stelle eine Frage

Heute ist Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías gestorben, der Millionen von Menschen besonders in der südlichen Hemisphäre Hoffnung gab! Es ergibt sich aus Geschichtskenntnis, dass mir eine Frage in den Sinn kommt: hatte „Big Brother“, der US Geheimdienstapparat seine Hand im Spiel? Nennt mich nicht verrückt! Diese Kreise liebten Chavez nicht mehr als sie Lumumba geliebt haben. Damals hat die CIA den „Chemie-Spezialisten“ Sidney Gottlieb mit tödlichen Substanzen in den Kongo geschickt, um „das Problem zu lösen“, was dann allerdings auf andere Weise geschah (Tim Weiner, „CIA, die ganze Geschichte“, 2008, S. 226). Auch viele US-Anschläge auf Castro sind geschichtsnotorisch.

Und noch eine Frage: sollte Arafats Tod nicht noch einmal untersucht werden? Vor Monaten wurden die Proben entnommen, bisher keine Resultate!

Hugo Chavez dead! I´m Asking a Question!

Today Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, leader of the Venezuelan People and their real liberation, who gave hope to millions of people especially in the Southern Hemisphere, died! It is from historical experience that a question comes to my mind: has “Big Brother”, the intelligence apparatus of the US Empire had a hand in it? Don´t call me mad! Those circles surely didn´t love Chavez more than they loved Lumumba! And those days they´ve sent Sidney Gottlieb, the CIA´s “Chemical Specialist”, “to solve the problem” (http://tinyurl.com/b5jown9) which was then done in another way. The man surely isn´t active any more but definitely had his apprentices! Also many US attempts on Castro are proven.

And another question: wasn´t Arafat´s death to be investigated on again? Months ago material was taken, but no results yet!

DIE LINKE und die Friedensfrage: der Stand der Dinge

Am 27. Januar 2012 entweihte die thüringische Landtagsabgeordnete Katharina König in unglaublicher Weise den Holocaust-Gedenktag, indem sie auf ihrer Website unkommentierte Reklame für die Israelische Luftwaffe einstellte (http://haskala.de/2012/01/27/27-januar-internationaler-holocaustgedenktag/):

“Wir, Piloten der israelischen Luftwaffe, fliegen im Himmel über dem Lager des Schreckens, entstanden aus der Asche von sechs Millionen Opfern, tragen wir ihre stummen Schreie, salutieren ihrem Mut und versprechen, Schild des Jüdischen Volkes und des Staates Israel zu sein.”

Diesen Text ergänzte sie durch ein Video, das die unglaublichen deutschen Verbrechen des Holocaust letztlich als indirekte Rechtfertigung für das völkerrechtswidrige Vorgehen der israelischen Streitkräfte gegenüber den Palästinensern missbraucht und Staaten der Region unterstellt, sie beabsichtigten einen zweiten Holocaust gegenüber den Israelis:

Auch unabhängig von jeder Bewertung israelischer Politik und ihrer Missachtung von Völkerrecht und UN-Beschlüssen ist selbstverständlich eine solche „Bewerbung“ von Streitkräften für eine Partei, deren ausdrückliches Alleinstellungsmerkmal im Bundestag u. a. ihre uneingeschränkte Ablehnung kriegerischer Gewalt ist, absolut unzulässig, sie verstößt gegen fundamentale Grundsätze unserer Partei, um welche Streitmacht es sich auch immer handeln möge. Da ich diese Handlung als schweren Schaden für die Glaubwürdigkeit unserer Partei ansah und ansehe, richtete ich einen Ausschlussantrag gegen Katharina König an unseren Bundesvorstand mit der Bitte um Weiterleitung an die Bundesschiedskommission (ausschlussantrag-k-koenig). Wie mit solchem Verhalten umzugehen ist, regelt nämlich klar die Bundessatzung in §3, Absatz 4:

„Ein Mitglied kann nur durch eine Schiedskommission im Ergebnis eines ordentlichen Schiedsverfahrens entsprechend der Schiedsordnung und nur dann aus der Partei ausgeschlossen werden, wenn es vorsätzlich gegen die Satzung oder erheblich gegen Grundsätze oder Ordnung der Partei verstößt und ihr damit schweren Schaden zufügt.“

Der Schaden für unsere Partei, insbesondere für die Glaubwürdigkeit hinsichtlich der Ernsthaftigkeit, mit der das Programm beachtet wird, kann wohl nicht bestritten werden.

Ende April teilte mir die Bundesschiedskommission mit, dass der Vorgang an die Landesschiedskommission Thüringen weitergeleitet wurde. Ein Telefonat mit dem Vorsitzenden der Schiedskommission Mitte Mai brachte die Auskunft, ich würde Ende Mai Näheres erfahren. Dann kam die Ankündigung, man würde auf der Sitzung der Landesschiedskommission im Juni den Fall behandeln. Im Juni hat die Landesschiedskommission beschlossen, einen „Berichterstatter“ einzusetzen. Dann „zog“ es sich weiter und weiter. Angekündigte Berichte zum Sachstand kamen nicht. Am 21. Dezember – irgendwie musste nun wohl was passieren – kam dann ein Brief, in dem ich aufgefordert wurde, den Schaden zu präzisieren:

Dass diese Aufforderung an der eigentlichen Schadensfrage vorbeiginge, der Schaden allein schon durch die schwere Verletzung der Grundsätze entstünde, und auch bei Bundesschiedsverfahren nicht der „konkrete“ Schaden im Vordergrund stünde, versuchte ich dann in dieser Ergänzung zum Ausschlussantrag klar zu machen:

 

Indessen, man versteifte sich nun völlig auf eine genehme Auslegung der „Schadensfrage“ und entschied darauf, der Antrag auf Ausschluss sei unbegründet:

Ja, nun wird sich die Bundesschiedskommission mit der Frage beschäftigen müssen. Offenbar zieht man es vor, wenn solche Fragen in Zeiten des Wahlkampfes geklärt werden, bedauerlich!

Nun, auch die Bundesschiedskommission hat dann meinen Antrag abgelehnt! Ich werde aber meine Kraft nicht mehr am konkreten Fall verschleißen lassen. Aber, in dieser Frage – wie in manchen anderen Fragen – Schande über meine Partei!
