Western Iconoclasm Coming Home! Is there More to it?

How happy were imperial Western political, economic and media forces, when statues of their opponents were toppled, like the one of Saddam Hussein after the Iraq War, of Lenin after the collapse of the East Block, or of Stalin in the Hungarian Upheaval 1956. Now the same forces are extremely offended when statues of personalities from Colonial History or the History of the Confederate Southern States of the US are under attack, or likewise historical relics of Colonialism in Germany. The fury against those monuments and Art Works (or street names) is refering to the justified anger about the History of Colonialism and Racism.

In a way one could say: Iconoclasm is coming home!

But there is a Big „But“

When JFK was murdered, the „uncouth“ words of Malcom X (whom I really hold in high esteem) were: „the_chicken_are_coming_home_to_roost“, which meant: don´t complain, what the US are doing all over the world, assassinating politicians, has come back to the US. The great man (Malcolm) was at that point not aware that JFK_was_murdered_by_exactly_those_forces who also do the other killings (and who killed also him later on)!

But we (who are fighting for a more just world, free from Exploitation, Colonialism and Racism) should be clear about one thing: the Western or Western inspired topplings of their opponents statues were the brutal manifestation of their already achieved victories. Are we already in the position to celebrate true victories about those forces of evil or should we be mislead to mistake „the victory“ over a statue for the real victory?!

Is it really productive just to provoke the mislead majorities in Western countries by things which appear to them as vandalism to push them deeper into the arms of the powers that – shouldn´t – be, whereas in reality we should make them aware that most of them are also exploited and marginalized? In order to work for real class solidarity we should possibly find other ways of struggle.

Not to be misunderstood, I do not care for those monuments under attack which are in reality a symbol for Western shame, but it would be more productive to counter them by „counter statements“ materialized for example by other monuments or plates enlightening people about the true nature of those „historical personalities“. A serious counter statement was for example given by Colin_Kaepernick, no matter how the system has punished him professionally for his bravery. Luckily there are people who are following his example. But many still think the struggle is about monuments. And that is based on the wrong belief that Colonialism would have ended, like the talks about “post Colonial times” try to suggest, what_a_hoax!

Are there possibly forces trying to mislead us into striving for pseudo victories and detract us from the struggles for real change? Is the support from someone like George Soros, who has no_guilty_consciousness for collecting property from its Jewish owners during Nazi occupation in Hungary, who did a lot to destabilize Eastern countries with fake “Color_Revolutions” and who is quite proud of amassing_enormous_wealth from the exploited masses something that fits to a struggle for a more just World? Should we choose symbolic pseudo-activism even open to be infiltrated by extremist forces from the other side?

No, we have a long and protracted struggle ahead against globalized neoliberal – and technocratic – Capitalism associated with ongoing Colonialism, Racism and warmongering. This system is claiming millions of lives not only in Africa and Middle East, and doesn´t probably even hesitate to apply Bio-Terrorism. We need to form alliances and really organize instead of fighting symbols!

Wie glücklich waren die politischen, wirtschaftlichen und medialen Kräfte des imperialen Westens, als die Statuen ihrer Gegner gestürzt wurden, wie die von Saddam Hussein nach dem Irak-Krieg, von Lenin nach dem Zusammenbruch des Ostblocks oder von Stalin im Ungarischen Aufstand 1956. Nun sind die gleichen Kräfte extrem beleidigt, wenn Statuen von Persönlichkeiten aus der Kolonialgeschichte oder der Geschichte der konföderierten Südstaaten der USA angegriffen werden, oder auch historische Relikte des Kolonialismus in Deutschland. Das Wüten gegen diese Denkmäler und Kunstwerke (oder Straßennamen) beruft sich auf die Widerwärtigkeiten der westlichen Geschichte zu Kolonialismus und Rassismus.

In gewisser Weise könnte man sagen: Die Bilderstürmerei kommt nach Hause!

Aber es gibt ein großes „Aber“

Als JFK ermordet wurde, waren die „unfrommen“ Worte von Malcom X (den ich wahrlich sehr schätze): „The Chicken are coming home to roost„, was bedeutete: „Beklagt euch nicht, was die USA in der ganzen Welt tun, nämlich Politiker zu ermorden, ist in die USA zurückgekehrt. Der große Mann (Malcolm) wusste damals noch nicht, dass_JFK_von_genau_den_Kraeften_ermordet wurde, die auch die anderen Morde verüben (und die später auch ihn ermorden ließen)!

Aber wir (die wir für eine gerechtere Welt kämpfen, frei von Ausbeutung, Kolonialismus und Rassismus) sollten uns über eines im Klaren sein: Das westliche oder westlich inspirierte Stürzen der Statuen ihrer Gegner war die brutale Manifestation ihrer Siege! Sind wir bereits in der Lage, den Sieg über diese Mächte des Bösen zu feiern, oder sollen wir in die Irre geführt werden, „den Sieg“ über eine Statue mit dem wirklichen Kampf gegen die Ausbeutung, den Kolonialismus und den Rassismus zu verwechseln?

Ist es wirklich produktiv, die irregeleiteten Mehrheiten in den westlichen Ländern durch Dinge, die ihnen als Vandalismus erscheinen, nur zu provozieren, um sie tiefer in die Arme der Mächte zu treiben, die es nicht geben sollte, während wir ihnen eigentlich bewusst machen sollten, dass die meisten von ihnen auch ausgebeutet und an den Rand gedrängt werden? Um für echte Klassensolidarität zu arbeiten, sollten wir wahrscheinlich andere Wege des Kampfes finden.

Um nicht missverstanden zu werden: Mir liegen die angegriffenen Denkmäler, die in Wirklichkeit ein Symbol für westliche Schande sind, nicht wirklich am Herzen, aber es wäre produktiver, ihnen mit „Gegenaussagen“ zu begegnen, die zum Beispiel durch andere Denkmäler oder einordnende Tafeln umgesetzt werden könnten, die die Menschen über die wahre Natur dieser „historischen Persönlichkeiten“ aufklären. Ein ernsthaftes „Gegen-Statement“ wurde zum Beispiel von Colin_Kaepernick gegeben, egal wie das System ihn beruflich für seine Tapferkeit bestraft hat. Glücklicherweise gibt es Menschen, die seinem Beispiel folgen. Aber viele denken immer noch, dass es bei dem Kampf um Denkmäler geht. Leider verkommt auch_linke_Politik in den USA immer öfter in diesem Sinne.

Gibt es möglicherweise Kräfte, die versuchen, uns zu Pseudo-Siegen zu verleiten und uns von den Kämpfen um echte Veränderungen abzulenken? Ist die Unterstützung von jemandem wie George Soros mit seiner „Open_Society“, der kein_schlechtes_Gewissen hatte, weil er während der Nazi-Okkupation in Ungarn Eigentum von seinen jüdischen Eigentümern gesammelt hat, der viel_zur_Destabilisierung der östlichen Länder mit sogenennten „orangenen Revolutionen“ beigetragen hat und der ziemlich stolz darauf ist, von den ausgebeuteten Massen enorme_Reichtuemer anzuhäufen, etwas, das zu einem Kampf für eine gerechtere Welt passt? Sollten wir uns wirklich für einen symbolischen Pseudoaktivismus entscheiden, der sogar offen dafür ist, von extremistischen Kräften der anderen Seite infiltriert zu werden?

In Deutschland wir man aufpassen müssen, dass auch der Kampf um die Umbenennung von Straßen nicht Ablenkungscharakter gewinnt. Auf einer derartigen Veranstaltung_2011_in_Berlin zur Umbenennung des Gröbenufers in May-Ayim-Ufer fiel zum Beispiel kein einziges Wort über den zur gleichen Zeit in Libyen tobenden Kolonialkrieg des Westens! Und hin und wieder gerät guter Wille zur bedauernswerten Geschichtsvergessenheit.

Nein, wir haben einen mühsamen und langwierigen Kampf gegen den globalisierten neoliberalen Kapitalismus, der untrennbar mit anhaltendem Kolonialismus, Rassismus und Kriegstreiberei verbunden ist, vor uns. Dieses System fordert nicht nur in Afrika und im Nahen Osten Millionen von Menschenleben und zögert wahrscheinlich nicht einmal, den Bio-Terrorismus anzuwenden. Wir müssen Allianzen bilden und uns wirklich organisieren, anstatt Symbole zu bekämpfen!

Colonialism Alive and Well, Better Say as Bad as Ever! Part 3: Proxy Colonialism in West Papua

Colonialism Alive! Proxy Colonialism

On this blog I wrote quite a lot about the Proxy Colonialism the US henchmen Kagame of Rwanda and Museveni of Uganda are exercising_on_the_DR_Congo leading to the death of eight to ten million people in that country during the last two decades. All this done for Western industrial greed for resources like Coltan.

Many reports are also to be found about the US Empire and Saudi backed proxy mercenaries terrorizing Syria. Saudi Arabia´s colonial proxy war on Yemen, waged on behalf not only their own interest but on behalf of Israel and the US is also getting into the focus. But there´s another dramatic case of Proxy Colonialism on the other side of the Globe.

West Papua and Indonesian Proxy Colonialism

When Indonesia (to that day “Dutch East India”) gained independence (declared August 1945, formally recognized December 1949 by the Dutch, with exception of Netherlands_New_Guinea (the Western part of New_Guinea) under Ahmed Sukarno it tried to follow a path of independence in the Non-Aligned_Movement. But the military was very strong and deeply linked to the US. Sukarno who had tried to balance the military and on the other side the strong communist party failed in the end. In a terrible conflict (500,000 people, many landless sympathizers of the KP, butchered) the balance crumbled in a military take over.

The Indonesian Regime, a Brutal Henchman of globalized Capitalism

General Suharto was the man of the US and seized power (officially in 1968) over the archipelago with so many different ethnicities. He and his military clique turned the many islands into a plunder ground for the Westerners and Japanese interests using Javanese dominance for their purposes, especially to eastern regions, i. e. the western part of New_Guinea.

„New Africa“: New Guinea

When the Spaniards and other Westerners came across the island, its dark skinned inhabitants with frizzy hair reminded them of Africa´s Guinea Coast (which was already made the hunting ground for slavers) which inspired them to name the island New Guinea. Going further east they met similar people up to the Fiji islands and in course of time named them Melanesians because of their dark pigmentation.

In New Guinea the natural surrounding with high mountains and deep valleys led to an enormous linguistic splitting and the number of languages outnumbers that of continents. Certain forms of conflict practices (though culturally limited in a refined way) as well as other cultural practices strengthened western prejudices. When the Dutch reigned over “Dutch East India” including the western part of New Guinea, they infected many of the other colonized with these prejudices.

Intrusion: „Divide and Rule“

Throughout Colonialism the Colonizers liked to play one group against the other. If force „was needed“ to keep people in one place down people were recruited as colonial soldiers from other ethnicities. This is also to be found with the „use“ of the Nepalese_Gurkha by the British in South East Asia. And these methods „linked“ even Continents (as for work force this was common for example with Indian contract laborers to the Caribbean and to Fiji). Between 1831 and 1872 the Dutch enlisted about 3000 people from West Africa, mainly from Ashanti and other Akan peoples, into their colonial army in Dutch East India. They were called Belanda_Hitam, black_Dutchmen. The offspring_of_those_Indo-Africans are still to be found in the Netherlands, Surinam as well as in Indonesia. By and large this history might not have contributed to Indonesians liking for black people.

The Creepy Beginning of a Tragedy

When Indonesia gained independence soon after WW II formally in 1949 Western New Guinea as said before remained under Dutch control to the distaste of the Indonesian ruling Elite. The issue of borders in connection with independence raised some complicated questions in general, which were even more felt in Africa. A basic contradiction was lying in colonial borders which separated ethnicities and lumped others – having historical conflicts or having very different types of society – together. General line among the anti colonial movements was to avoid endless border issues. But on the other side in Africa the large entity of former French West Africa was also split into a number of countries.

The aspirations of the Javanese dominated Indonesian political class (under pressure of growing overpopulation in the archipelago´s West) were confronted with a special situation. Firstly West New Guinea had been longer under Dutch control and was de facto already no more “part of Indonesia”, secondly, but more important, it was a very different world. It was not only inhabited by very different people but by people on whom especially the majority and decisive group, the Javanese, looked upon in despise with that racist arrogance based on the perceived „backwardness“ of the Papua and which was strengthened by North European anti black racism. And the social structure would have left the Papua almost defenseless to economic and social exploitation.

Despite different plans by the Netherlands

On basis of this situation – and possibly based on own interest to establish neo-colonial relations – the Dutch government made plans to prepare West Papuans for Independence to be gained in 1970. Such considerations didn´t bother neither the Indonesian government nor the UN dominated by the US government. Indonesia tried to solve their “problem” by military force. Under the strong influence of the US the UN made the Netherlands in the New_York_Agreement complying to hand over administration to Indonesia (which they did in March 1963). Especially the US aim to keep Indonesia close to the West played its part. For this the US had special plans, fittingly analyzed by Noam Chomsky in an interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWlYorZWvWw). But the treaty also included a procedure after a while in which the Papua should decide whether they wanted to stay with Indonesia. The Agreement included this:

a) Musyawarah (consultative councils) would be instructed on procedures to assess the will of the population

b) The actual date of the act would be completed before 1969

c) The question in the act would allow the inhabitants to decide whether to stay or to separate from Indonesia

d) ALL adults would be allowed to participate in the act of free choice

But what became out of it?

The Fake “Decision”, the “Act of Free Choice”

The “Act_of_Free_Choice” was then in 1969 nothing but a typical colonial theatre. The Indonesia military had selected 1025 men to vote in an event in July to August 1969 about the future of their people, which was being performed by “hand rising” (surrounded by barbed wire and armed forces nearby), blocking any public discussion on the matter. It doesn´t need much fantasy to imagine which mixture of bribing_and_terrorizing a military organization has to apply to reach_the_desired_aim. Nevertheless the UN manifested this fake procedure in the resolution 2504 (XXIV) without any qualification whether it fulfilled the demands described in United Nations General Assembly resolutions 1514 and 1541 (XV) respectively. To call this theatre play an act of „self determination“ requires a high grade of cynicism.

Another Intrusion: The Eastern Part of New Guinea, Papua New Guinea

The eastern part of New Guinea was up to World War I divided between the Germans in the North East and the British in the South East. The German part was handed to the Australians as a “protectorate” afterwards. Both parts got independence as Papua New Guinea in 1975 including the “Bismarck Archipelago and the Northern Solomon Islands (http://tinyurl.com/chrqzkg). Rich resources (oil, copper, gold) as well as well as agricultural products (coffee, cocoa, oil palm and tea) inspire Western greed and expose the country to all well known evils of neocolonialism as the western part of the island does. All 7.5 to 8 million inhabitants of today will have to defend their place against this growing greed.

Pending Genocide: Ongoing Resistance and ongoing Massacres in West Papua

By and large the resistance and armed struggle began as campaigns by tribal warriors, who just wanted to get rid of the strange occupants. The United_Liberation_Movement_for_West_Papua and the Free_Papua_Movement were formed. By the time it got more organized, gained more support from exile Papua and sympathizers in Papua New Guinea (the eastern half of the island) and other Melanesians.

Infuriating is the plunder of the mineral_resources by international companies, by which Indonesia tries to pay their own debts to world finance (a general problem of “Third World countries). The Grasberg_mine run by Freeport McRohan is the world´s largest Gold mine and second largest Copper mine. Now Freeport_has_given_51%_control_to_Indonesia, for which it will be allowed to keep the mine till 2041. The destruction and pollution of the natural surrounding and the expelling of people, so that Westerners can get “their” oil, gold and other precious resources “which by incident got under the rain wood of those savages”, fuels the resistance of the people. And the devastation is also going on for plunder of precious woods and else.

On one hand there is a real ecocide_going_on_in_the_heartlands of West Papua. Even worse are the direct sufferings of the population. The brutality of the Indonesian army is well known. It´s reported that four_out_of_ten_West_Papuan_women have been subjected to Indonesian state violence.

The land as such is wanted by Indonesians. The Indonesian immigrants are about to outnumber the Papuans. A Transmigration_program is existing. In fact there is evidence for genocidal_intention on the side of Indonesia. In an article in „The_Tyee“ from November 2006 one can read: „It has been estimated that 100,000 Papuans (about 10 percent of the population) were killed by the Indonesian military after they took control of West Papua. In a recent Associated Press article, human rights monitors put the death toll at approximately 200,000.“ The Papuan leader Benny_Wenda is even claiming that half a million Papuans might have fallen victim_to_the_Indonesian_state_sanctioned_murder.

An important role might play AIDS. In the same article on can also read: „A 2005 report, published by the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Sydney, alleged that the military has been involved in supplying HIV/AIDS-infected prostitutes to the region. Currently, the province of Papua has the second highest number of AIDS sufferers in Indonesia, after Jakarta. With the number AIDS cases doubling in just four years, and the systematic discrimination against Papuans in government-sponsored AIDS education programs, many villages have virtually been wiped out.“

In a word: The indigenous people of West Papua are in a desperate situation!

And a Third Intrusion: Brothers in suffering

How little the Indonesian political attitude towards West Papua has to do with the fact that West Papua was once “united” with Indonesia in “Dutch East India” showed the treatment of the former Portuguese colony East_Timor which got near independence in the downfall of Portugal´s Salazar regime (to which the struggle of the people in its African colonies contributed enormously). With the support of the US Indonesia annexed East Timor and massacred many thousands of the inhabitants. In all this resulted in more than 100,000 deaths as the consequence of massacres but also of hunger and illness. In the end the enormous brutality raised international protest which contributed together with the fierce resistance (by Falintil, the armed force of the Fretelin) to East Timor´s independence in September 2002. This development is in a way a torch and hope for the suffering Papua.

Hopes, Dangers and Perspectives

As said before the example of East Timor might be encouraging, but notwithstanding the fact that East Timor has besides its Sandal wood off shore oil resources about which a partial sea boundary solution with Australia is reached, West Papua is a much more tempting prey for imperialism. If West Papua would hopefully gain independence international corporations are more on the uncertain side because the resistance as such is a lot motivated by the extraction of the resources. In such a case the empire (US) might even prefer unification with Papua New Guinea since neocolonial ties there are already established. The present turmoil in the eastern half of the island is largely the result of that. As long as the US capitalists are relatively sure of Indonesia they´ll do a lot to enable Indonesia to uphold its grip. A changing geostrategic situation in East and South East Asia could change things, especially if the upcoming currency treaty between China and Japan might do its part, since Japan is joining in the exploitation of Indonesia at the US´s will. On the other side do the covered plans to expand NATO to Australia and New Zealand not provide much good for the region since it´s the clear symbol for the will to perpetuate “white man´s world rule” forever.

The people of Papua must know that even Europe being still in the status of a vassal to the US Empire would be a very shaky ally in their aspirations. Public pressure and a strong support by leftist parties as well as solidarity from “Third World Countries”, especially from African countries, would be a desired help, but are still lacking. Understanding in Melanesia is growing, Vanuatu gave a good signal. It will be a hard and protracted long struggle only to be won with the patience the freedom hero Filep_Karma has shown, who was thrown into prison by Indonesians after having raised West Papua´s flag in 2004.

And one should be skeptical of certain allies. Especially infiltrated NGOs and Christian groups could be eager to keep the resistance groups close to the Western plunder by globalist neoliberal capitalism. Thus the resistance groups should be on the watch.

Fake Friends and Allies

Oppression means also to keep the oppressed away from information. Ignorance as the result of oppression has for example driven Jamaicans to a mystification of the Haile Selassi regime of those days and led to the Rastafari movement (luckily with little real Western influence). Western Christian infiltration of the South Sudanese struggle made South_Sudan a toy in the hands of the West.

There´s also a dangerous confusion among sections of West Papua’s resistance about Israel, systematically nourished also by (US) Evangelicals, with close connection to Zionism. This phenomenon is also linked to the fact that Islam is Indonesia´s most prominent religion. Superficial approach and the likewise dangerous and superficial idea “my enemy´s enemy is my friend” contributed to this. It is understandable that Papuans might be annoyed about Indonesian_hospital_for_Palestine whereas the health situation in their own country is grossly neglected to formulate it mildly, but things should be seen in context. The Papuan sympathizers for Israel do not know that there are informal_relations_between_Indonesia_and_Israel even on the “security level”. Likewise the sympathizers are for example unaware that not the whole Arabic world at all turns a blind eye to West Papua´s sufferings. Arabic Aljazeera for example is quite aware of West Papua. It did not only report about Indonesian_massacres_inside_the_country but pays lot of attention to the ongoing plunder_of_West_Papua as well as to the background_and_resistance with sympathy. Also the Indonesian_misuse_of_interpol in the case of Benny Wenda is well documented by Al Jazeera. In deed there are great similarities in the situation of West_Papua_and_Palestine and Papuans would be well advised not to run into illusions about Israel.

Israel as Protector for Black People?

Henry Myrttinen has researched_the_strange_sympathies for Israel in an extended way. He reports that a student activist in Manokwari stated:

“I really don’t understand this whole Israel thing. I mean, look at it: it’s the Israelis that are taking away Palestinian land and the Israeli army is acting just like the TNI [Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Indonesian Armed Forces] is acting here, breaking human rights, shooting people … If we’re to identify with someone’s struggle, then it’s the Palestinians.“

Even leaving aside Israel´s attitude to the Palestinians one should look at Israel´s political attitude towards Black people. The Falasha, Ethiopian_Jews, the “Black brothers in faith” were seduced to emigrate to Israel (and welcome as “gun fodder”), they given birth-control_without_their_consent. Anti-African_racism is widespread in Israel and is “white_supremacy” in practice. There are many records proving the open racism of open_racism_of_Netanyahu_and_many_officials in Israel! Disgusting incidents are reported about racist_excesses_in_Israel. And it seems there are infections of more racism in the US by Israel-trained_police. Any West Papuan thinking of refuge in Israel should think twice!

An Outlook

Unfortunately the Indonesian_left is not really to be seen and the political spectrum rather_unbalanced. In face of widespread growing_ethnic_and_religious_tensions in Indonesia this is highly regrettable. But on the long run the hidden Indonesian left and the formations of resistance against Javanese dominance in Indonesia should not generally be discarded as potential allies. Based on the insight that Indonesia is at least partly acting as a proxy colonial power in favor of Western resource greed there could hardly be trust in Western countries as allies. But important are anti-imperialist and anti-racist movements in the West. More attention by African and Carribbean societies would be desirable. In fact many Africans and African Americans are not even aware that they have sisters and brothers in suffering on the other side of the globe.

A clear and well based anti-imperialist ideological orientation is essential to make allies. Fake allies (like Israel) should be avoided, the more since that makes broader alliances more difficult. As dramatic as the situation is, it appears there is a long struggle ahead. And to be very clear about it: In the US Neocon_Think_Tanks there are plans even for Bio_Warfare against the Southern Hemisphere, East Asia and all non-Western countries!

As long as we don´t understand the overall concept of neoliberal globalized Capitalism with its extermination concepts – which are also at work in West Papua – we´ll not be able to build a broad front to end it!

Libyan Slavery: a Day of Fury in Berlin!

Yesterday a protest demonstration against the terrible sufferings inflicted on African migrants and excesses_of_slavery in Libya was held by Germany´s Black_Community in front of the Libyan embassy in Berlin. Several hundred people, members of the African community (from Berlin and Hamburg), Afro-Germans and German supporters expressed their anger and fury about the events in Libya. Unfortunately some people were obviously more interested in staging themselves and made the organization a bit difficult, but important contributions were given. The protests were disciplined and facing a relatively cooperative police. In all it was an impressive protest, though the event was after all confronting a Sturday-empty embassy. Luckily the US-American, French, British and German hands in the destruction of Libya which led to the disaster were mentioned. Possibly in the final analysis the protest should have been held in front of the US Embassy. We shouldn´t forget the “laughing_Lady”, crooked Hillary Clinton!

Is such a protest enough?

No doubt, such well based feelings of anger have to be expressed, but it would be bad if the relieve by shouting would be all. It is very clear, Colonialism_is_alive_and_still_going_strong! The US Empire – assisted by its foolish European vassals thus creating a “refugee crisis” for themself – is working hard to destroy all African independence and reduce Africa to resource-slavery, which “Happenings” like “G20_Africa_Partnership_Conference” will not make us forget. And_the_refugees_may_get_drowned! The inflicted destruction pushes also a dangerous “brain drain”. And it´s even going beyond that, US Power_Elite_declared_biowar_on_Africa!

Organization and Self Empowerment!

It should be obvious: Africa will not develop “with the West”, but only “against the West” taking into consideration the powers “that shouldn´t be” in the West! And “self victimization” wouldn´t help, likewise lamenting! The spirit of Lumumba, Nkrumah, Malcom X, Sankara and others has to return and be merged with further studies of the enemy, of self organization and economic self empowerment. Many Liberation movements stopped at official “Independence” and were neutralized after the “victory”, in which process surely the crumbling down of the East Block played an important role.

I remember an event in Berlin on the 29^th August 2011 about the renaming of the “Gröbenufer” into “May_Ayim_Ufer”. In all the speeches no word was dropped about the those days ongoing Western war against Libya, which drove me mad. Today we can see the “success” of that war!

Symbolism and Fake Allies

In all these symbolic activities the German Green Party is always very active, but, “In the Libyan war, the Greens attacked the then Christian Democratic Union/Free Democratic Party government for not participating in the bombardment of the country. Last year, they were the strongest advocates of military intervention in Syria”, as “World_Socialist_Web_Site” describes.

It is hard to write – since I have no liking for those people – but maybe a whole number of xenophobes in Europe would be more reliable allies if they could be rightfully convinced that Europe´s help for the US lead destruction of Africa and Near and Middle East will confront them with migrant waves they can not dream of stopping!

And an important point is the general Peace Question. A common point of interest with broader sections of the German society would be to make them understand that for German interests it would be better to engage in the Eurasian Cooperation than in the develish destruction of Africa and Near East. Their “most important ally”, the US Power Elite, is not only the driving force in Africa´s destruction (eight_million_dead_in_DR_Congo_in_the_last_twenty_one_years), but also in the effort to make Europe the battle field of the mad warmongers war against Russia! Surely that necessary turn of German strategy would be the “nightmare_of_the_US_PowerElite”. Behind all this: excessive neoliberal globalized Capitalism!

After all, my dear African friends, there is a_long_struggle_ahead! Being 70 years old what I can do is exposing Imperialism and its hidden implications and agendas, and I will!

Libysche Sklaverei: ein Tag der Wut in Berlin!

Gestern, am Samstag, fand eine Protest-Demonstration vor der libyschen Botschaft in Berlin gegen die abscheulichen Exzesse des Menschenhandels in Libyen statt, veranstaltet von der Afrikanischen_Community in Deutschland. Afrikaner, Afrodeutsche und deutsche Unterstützer vornehmlich aus Berlin und Hamburg drückten ihren Zorn über die Ereignisse in Libyen aus. Es war eine eindrucksvolle Demonstration mit Hunderten von Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern, auch, wenn einige Leute die Organisation durch undiszipliniertes Verhalten nicht erleichterten. Die Demonstration verlief friedlich und die Polizei war relativ kooperativ.

Begrüßenswerterweise wurde die Rolle der USA, Frankreichs und Großbritanniens nicht unerwähnt gelassen, die durch den Krieg gegen Libyen die Katastrophe erzeugt haben. Dabei sei daran erinnert, dass die damalige Bundesregierung wenigstens bei der Abstimmung im Sicherheitsrat zur “Flugverbotszone” sich der Stimme enthalten hat, was ihr wohl eine “Erinnerung_des_grossen_Bruders” einbrachte. Letztendlich hätte man wohl vor der US-Botschaft demonstrieren sollen, man erinnere sich an Hillary Clintons Lachanfall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g8kAvneeMo.

Auf jeden Fall war die Veranstaltung ein deutlicher Ausdruck allzu berechtigten Zornes.

Ist das alles genug?

Aber reicht es, seine Wut lautstark vor einer “Samstags-leeren” libyschen Botschaft auszudrücken? Es wäre bei Weitem zu wenig. Keine Frage, der_Kolonialismus_lebt_und_tobt_weiter! Auch Veranstaltungen wie die “G20_Afrika-Konferenz” können nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen. Der Westen gibt sich gerne als “Feuerwehr” aus und ist tatsächlich der Brandstifter! Die angebliche “Bekämpfung der_Fluchtursachen“ ist eine hohle Phrase. Aber es geht noch darüber hinaus, in den faschistischen Neocon Think Tanks wird vom “biologischen_Rassenkrieg” geträumt. Afrika soll offenbar in ewiger Rohstoff-Sklaverei gehalten werden.

Selbstorganisation, politisch, sozial und auch insbesondere wirtschaftlich

Die Annahme einer Opferrolle und Klagen sind nicht der Weg. Tatsächlich muss es einem klar werden, so wie die Dinge im Westen liegen, kann Afrika sich wohl nicht “mit dem Westen”, sondern nur “gegen den Westen” entwickeln! Das erfordert viel Arbeit und Enthusiasmus. Der Geist von Lumumba, Nkrumah, Malcolm X, Sankara und Anderen muss wiederbelebt werden und mit dem Studium der Gegner, der Organisation, Geo-Politik und autozentrierter Wirtschaft verknüpft werden. Leider sind die Erfolge des Befreiungskampfes in vielen Ländern nach dem vermeintlichen Sieg wieder zunichte gemacht worden, wobei der Zusammenbruch der Sowjetunion wohl eine große Rolle spielte.

Symbolismus und falsche Verbündete

Forderungen nach Mahnmalen für die Opfer von Sklaverei und Kolonialismus nähren nur die alberne Illusion, der Kolonialismus sei vorbei. So sehr man sich über Straßen ärgern mag, die nach Kolonialisten benannt sind, das Ringen um Umbenennung darf nicht über die Notwendigkeit hinwegtäuschen, den Kolonialismus wirklich zu bekämpfen, es gibt kaum ein alberneres Wort als das vom “Post-Kolonialismus”. Ich erinnere mich an eine Veranstaltung_zur_Umbenennung des Gröben-Ufers in May-Ayim-Ufer am 29. August 2011. Zur gleichen Zeit fand der NATO-Krieg gegen Libyen statt. Nicht ein Wort fiel auf der Veranstaltung dazu, was mich sehr verärgerte.

Besonders die Grünen sind eifrig bei derartigen Alibi-Veranstaltungen dabei, haben sich aber auch bei der Zerstörung Libyens als “olivgrüne” Kriegspartei hervorgetan und die damalige Bundesregierung für ihre relative Zurückhaltung schwer angegriffen. Friedenskampf gegen tödliches “Spiel”

Wir sollen auch nicht vergessen, dass zu den “grünen Lieblingen”, wie denen des weistlichen Mainstreams insgesamt, Paul Kagame gehört, der der US-Handlanger für die Zerstörung der DR Kongo ist und für über acht_Millionen_Tote dort verantwortlich zeichnet. Gerne wird medial übrigens die gezielte_Destabilisierung_Afrikas als das Ergebnis “Afrikanischer Barbarei” dargestellt.

Angesichts grüner Doppelzüngigkeit kann man fast noch eher Xenophoben – so unappetitlich sie mir sind – klarmachen, dass sie besser gegen die US-geführte Zerstörung Afrikas und des Nahen und Mittleren Ostens aufstehen sollten, anstatt vor Flüchtlingsheimen zu gröhlen, wenn sie nicht Flüchtlingsströme erleben wollen, die keiner mehr aufhalten könnte! Diese Politik zerstört ja nicht nur das Umfeld Europas, sondern könnte auch zur “Sprengung_Europas” führen. Die Friedensfrage ist bei Bündnissen von zentraler Bedeutung, denn die gleich US-Machtelite, die die Zerstörung der südlichen Hemisphäre orchestriert, müht sich auch, Europa zum Schlachtfeld ihres Krieges gegen Russland zu machen.

Keine Frage, meine afrikanischen Freunde, es wird ein langer Kampf, Afrika wirklich zu befreien und dafür zu sorgen, dass Menschen nicht mehr lebensgefährliche Fahrten unternehmen müssen, um Not, Krieg und Zerstörung zu entkommen. Es wird ein langer Kampf, dafür zu sorgen, dass die Bewohner des Kontinents seine Reichtümer selbst nutzen können und ihre Gesellschaften so entwickeln, dass sie nicht mehr zum Spielball des westlichen neoliberalen, globalisierten Raubtier-Kapitalismus werden.

Wenn ich mit meinen 70 Jahren mit der Entlarvung der Strategien der westlichen Machteliten und ihrer unmenschlichen Zielsetzungen ein wenig beitragen kann, wäre ich glücklich!

US Madness: MKULTRA in Full Swing?

Officially the notorious CIA Project_MKUltra was halted in 1973. The program for ruthless actions against groups and individuals included „the research and development of chemical, biological, and radiological materials capable of employment in clandestine operations to control human behavior“. Among other things the program dealt with „Substances which will promote illogical thinking and impulsiveness to the point where the recipient would be discredited in public“. Should we believe the program really ended? Do we think power gives up so easily?

What are the basic conflicts? A tiny, very_tiny_minority controls the riches of the world, its class struggle, and Warren_Buffet_claims_victory_for_the_super_rich, but the struggle isn´t over. The social and economic question is at the center. And that class is also waging „classical wars“ as well as covert wars, proxy wars. That means, the peace question stands side by side with the social question. But most of Buffet´s class dislike that openess and do everything to cover that story up. Covert ops are the means and thus we can be sure: MKUltra is alive!

That tiny super class needs the „right personnel“ at the right places. And they need to divert attention from the basic questions. The class conflict has to be covered by some sceemes of „race_war_concepts“ and their war policy has to be covered by the „others who want war“ and who have to be contained or liquidated. And the madness of that „super class“ and their deadly greed has to be covered by stories about individual madness. And the concepts laid down in MKUltra are among others „ideal“ means to those ends. We would be very naive to believe it´s over!

The „wrong“ President

There is no doubt, the US Power Elite, the „Deep_State“ of the US wanted Clinton as their reliable puppet at the political top. But the woman´s reputation was already bad and many people could see the „snake“ behind her weird_laughing. No doubt, the one compeeting with her was and is an egocentric and egomanic person also coming up with terrible remarks, sexist, suprematist nonsence, but with four very rational points: Detente with Russia, no more „Regime Change Wars“ and putting Trade agreements into question together with re-industrialization of the US, as well as „draining the swamp“. That did the trick. He won.

But this wasn´t to the taste of the Deep State. Soon they signalled to the man that he´s playing with his life and his „struggle_for_survival“ begun, with the result that he was put „on_track“, throwing all his anouncements over board. But there´s still a problem. He portraits the real US arrogancy, he is showing the true face of the ruling class though not a member of it. He is egomanic and in the end not fully controlable (be sure: he´ll not be allowed to „press the button“, but can do other „damage“). He has to go and the „calm“ Pence is waiting. But how to get Trump out? The foolish „Russiagate“ Story didn´t hold water. What next? Sure, the presidential helicopter is old and could fall down one day. But anything like that, such an incident or an assassination by a „lone wulf“ would probably lead to civil war like erruptions. What to do?

Weird Trump

No doubt, he was always acting and tweeting in a way that made many people shake their heads. But now he seems to be running out of order. He is using words a „President would never use“, he´s in permanent conflict with his close political surrounding, clash after clash. He´s grimassing and jumping into any conflict possible. More and more it appears: the man is ripe for impeachment! Since some time I´ve been asking myself: what does he take? And after a while: what are they giving to him? Uh, did I forget MKUltra? Why not apply those methods (described up) to a President of whom you want to get rid off? Quote again: „Substances which will promote illogical thinking and impulsiveness to the point where the recipient would be discredited in public“! And for such ops you build on what is there, a tendency to egomanic behaviour, and you push that to the top!

And many people including his followership still harbour the illusion of the US President being the „most powerful man on Earth“. The Power Elite might push him to play the „mad man“. But are there more means to push the topic of the mad man?

Las Vegas Shooting

On the 1^st of October a terrible attack on visitors of a Country Music Festival in Las Vegas was launched. It started at 10:05 pm and lasted for about 10 minutes. Most reports give the number of 59 deaths (not including the alleged shooter Stephen Craig Paddock) and the number wounded varying from 489 to 527. The rounds have been fired from the Mandalay Bay Hotel´s 32^nd floor (some say also from another floor as well). An enormous number of guns and amount of ammunition was found after the police broke into two appartments rented by Paddock. There are reports of two cameras outside the appartments to warn the shooter. More weaponry was found in the luxurious home of the multi millionaire.

But the alleged „shooter“ doesn´t fit into what is usually „expected“ from a weird „lone wulf“ like for example Breivik. He was living with a woman, had continous contact with his brother and showed no signs of fanatism except being a fanatic gambler (though the IS ridiculously claimed the deed). In fact the whole slaughter_in_Las_Vegas appears to have many elements of a false flag operation and the man either being a patsy or even the whole tragedy being an MKUltra operation based on extended psychological manipulation. And quite some hints direct to „helpers“. Surely nothing is sure and Paul_Craig_Roberts treats the case with caution stressing the uncertainty. On „Covert Geopolitics“ Jon Rappoport sees the „official_scenario_crumbling“. After all the tragic events bear many of the symptoms of a false flag like many „terror_attacks“, like classically a „dead perpetrator“. But if so, to which end? Simply the „Strategy_of_tension“ might not be enough of an explanation if it has really been staged.

Trying to connect possible dots

Two stereotypes have been applied for long in the Western media: African Americans portrayed as criminals and, according to Hillary Clinton´s infamous remark, „Super_Predators“, Muslims portrayed as Terrosrists, white Americans mostly being the victims of those dangerous people. Well, at times dump cops letting some old racism out completed the picture. Now the problem for the Power Elite is to get rid of a super rich white guy (Trump). Ok, many people would be glad to see that guy impeached, including those lunatics who think Clinton would be a „good President“, despite her being backed by Neocon_Fascists. But there´s also a large number of angry poor Whites, white suprematists and Militia men (many of them gun addicts). On the later two groups the US Power Elite is counting from time to time, when support for wars is necessary. And those two groups are rather vigilant and could become uncontrolable if it comes to Trumps´s impeachment. How to pacify those ones when it comes to „necessary steps“?

A new character picture has to come into the game: the madgone rich White. It is necessary for that step of impeachment by the Power Elite that Trump´s followership has to get scared by such a picture. They have to understand that such personalities could also become a deadly danger for them. So the wanted lesson for Trumpists could be: look, such rich white madgone men (mmh, like Trump as well) could also become a deadly danger for you white Country music lovers, many of you being Trump followers!

Far fetched? Maybe, but many people who haven´t read the declassified MKUltra papers would take all thoughts about covert ops to be „far fetched“and „outrageous_conspiracy_theories“! And in this presented theory all those „weird“ details make sense. We – the ordinary people – don´t have the means to verify such theories, but, damn, why shouldn´t we be allowed to speculate, if the „serious“ media are spreading idiotic theories about hated foreign countries and governments?!

USA: The Efforts to Cover the Struggle for Social Justice and Peace, to Cover the Class Struggle by the “Race War” Concept

No doubt, the US President has suprematist tendencies. No doubt, part of his followers are sick by Racism and ultra Nationalism. No doubt also that Racism is still a severe problem in the US and part of the West. At the same time there is the overall conflict between the US Power Elite and the World and the common US citizens as well. This conflict is a socio-economic one, but also endangers human life as such, it is a class conflict. The struggle for peace and social justice can in the end not be divided.

But division is the strategy of the Power Elite. They fared “well” with it for many, many decades, using “Race Conflicts”. It was mostly after the end of the Cold War that they changed tactics and declared the “Post Racial” era has begun. They needed “gun fodder” from all walks of life. But with the “overstretching” in their imperial wars and the economic stress from that on the US society the social conflicts sharpened (financial crisis hitting also many Whites) and people get more and more afraid for even nuclear confrontations.

So it seems that the Power Elite turns back to provocations for example by police_brutality_against_Black_Americans in order to sharpen the conflicts. This is the “Strategy_of_Tension”, also used for many decades. And they push from different sides. My impression is that via Soros_financed_structures the “Powers that (shouldn´t) be” also do also something to push leftist groups into the direction of eliminating Class Struggle by “Race Struggle”. And more dangerous: they´re presenting the Clinton gang (behind whom the Neocons_organize_their_Fascism) as the “lesser evil”. Surely many Whites can still easily be infected by “the fear for race war”, since they know what has been done to African Americans and still is done. They know how Europeans conquered the World. In fact White Americans are “illegal Immigrants” to “their country”, but the struggle for peace and justice could hardly be won without them.

A webpage permanently striving for clarity about these conflicts and struggles is the Black_Agenda_Report! And we need clarity in order not to fall into the traps, prepared for us by the US Power Elite and their political propagandists and henchmen in the media.

A Reminder: Neocon Think Tanks and Fascism

The world, especially the Southern Hemisphere should be alarmed! Trump is concerning certain aspects almost an open Fascist (by all means a white Suprematist), but he pretended to end the Influence of the US (Neocon) Power Elite. Well, the Power Elite almost ended him. He´d been put „on_track“ pretty soon.

The US Neocon Power Elite is by now as well in control of Trump as it also is in control of the Democratic Party. For that end they used Clinton as their spearhead in the Democratic Party. She brought Victoria Nuland (quote: “fuck the EU”) into the Obama administration. Nuland is the wife of Robert Kagan. Kagan is co-founder of the neoconservative “Project for the New American Century“.

If one wants to know what is in the „pipe“ of the Neocons, one should read their think tank papers. In September 2000 the „Project for the New American Century“ issued the paper „Rebuilding America´s Defenses“. On page 60 you find the announcement of Fascist atrocities! It reads:

„And advanced forms of biological warfare that can “target” specific genotypes may transform biological warfare from the realm of terror to a politically useful tool.“

Surely it should not target white Anglo Saxon Protestants (WASPs) but rather the people of the Southern Hemisphere and East Asia!

This is the direct continuation of those days Apartheid South Africa´s Project Coast headed by Wouter Basson, including bio warfare against the black majority. The dream of the devilish “doctor”, dubbed “Dr Death”, was the “Black Bomb” targetting_Africans_on_basis_of_tiny_genetic_differences. Basson was also said to have had contacts to Israel on behalf of “ethnic_weapons”. The whole project has never been uncovered to the full extend. It could be suspected that the dying regime has planted HIV via its Apartheid “health system” at large scale.

The ideas from the “Project for the New American Century” can also be seen as a continuation of the „Kissinger Report“ from December 1974 (NSSM 200, http://pdf.usaid.gov/pdf_docs/PCAAB500.pdf). You will read there about population growth in „developing countries“: „Whether through government action, labor conflicts, sabotage, or civil disturbance, the smooth flow of needed Materials will be jeopardized. Although population pressure is obviously not the only factor involved, these types of frustrations are much less likely under conditions of slow or zero population growth“ (page 40) . „Overpopulation“ is „thus creating political or even national security problems for the U.S.“ (page 8).

„Wherever a lessening of population pressures through reduced birth rates can increase the prospects for such stability, population policy becomes relevant to resource supplies and to the economic interests of the United States.“

But, let´s be pretty clear, the ideas brought fourth in “Rebuilding America´s Defenses” are Nazi like ideas of “Race War”, Racism and Fascism in the true sense! And they write such things with impunity and without most people taking notice!

Addition

The Think Tank „Project for the New American Century“ (it should be mentioned that Richard_Perle, the „Prince_of_Darkness“, was among its founders) was ended in 2006. 2007 the Center_for_a_New_American_Security was founded. The name signalling a true reference to the mentioned paper „Rebuilding America´s Defenses. A stronger personal continuity is shown in the „Foreign_Policy_Initiative“, founded in 2009. Among the founders were again William_Kristol and Robert_Kagan. It appears that the PNAC became so controversial that it seemed favourable to change to „follow up“ organizations.

As for the Center for a New American Security it should be mentioned that one of its Directors was Madeleine_Albright. She was not only deeply involved into monumental_crimes_against_the_people_of_Central_Africa, but also into the death of maybe half a million children in Iraq as a consequence of those days sanctions. Famous is her reply to the question: „was_the_price_worth_it?“, „we think it was worth it!“. So speaks a Fascist!

Zur Erinnerung: Neocon Think Tanks und Faschismus

US Präsident Trump tritt oft als hetzender, polternder weißer Suprematist auf und ist sicher eine unangenehme Kreatur! Aber er hatte angekündigt, gegen die US (Neocon) Machtelite vorzugehen. Es kam umgekehrt, er ist nun unter ihrer Kontrolle und „auf_Linie“ gebracht worden. Die Demokratische Partei aber ist schon vorher weitgehend unter die Kontrolle der Neocon Machtelite gebracht worden, wobei Hillary Clinton eine bedeutende Rolle spielte. Sie brachte Victoria Nuland (“fuck the EU”) in die Obama-Regierung. Sie bewegte die Obama-Administration dazu, Libyen zu zerstören und war maßgeblich an der Bewaffnung der Terroristen in Syrien beteiligt.

Was nun in in den Köpfen der Neocons ausgebrütet wird, dafür ist das Papier „Rebuilding America´s Defenses“ aus dem September 2000 sehr bezeichnend (Autor u. a. Paul Wolfowitz). Es wurde in dem von Nulands Ehemann Robert Kagan mitbegründetem Neocon Think Tank „Project for the New American Century“ gefertigt. Dort findet sich auf S. 60 eine besonders bedrohliche Passage zu möglichen Konzepten der US-Politik für Afrika (und Asien):

Übersetzt heißt das: „Und fortgeschrittene Formen der biologischen Kriegsführung, die auf bestimmte Gentypen „zielen“ könnten die biologische Kriegsführung aus dem Reich des Terrors zu einem nützlichen politischen Instrument wandeln.“

Hier geht es sicher nicht um den Genotypus des weißen Angelsachsen, sondern Afrika und Asien sind im Visier! Dabei kann die spezifische „genetische Angriffsfähigkeit“ natürlich auch durch eine „Anwendungs-Region“ für einen Keim ersetzt werden. Es handelt sich jedenfalls um die direkte Fortsetzung der Träume von der „schwarzen Bombe“ im „Project Coast“ des damaligen Apartheid-Regimes unter Leitung von Wouter_Basson_alias_Dr_Death, um „biologischen Rassenkrieg“ ( http://tinyurl.com/bq34prg)! Die Neocon-Konzepte des Rassenkrieges knüpfen auch an das berüchtigte „Kissinger-Papier“ NSSM-200 an.

Wenn einflussreiche Kreise der US-Politik sich solchen Träumen hingeben, sollten wir in Deutschland tatsächlich alarmiert sein, zumindest, wenn das oft zitierte Nachkriegsmotto „nie wieder“ noch irgendeinen Wert haben sollte!

Der Think Tank „Project for the New American Century“ (zu dessen Mitbegründern übrigens Richard_Perle, „der Fürst der Finsternis“ gehörte), wurde 2006 aufgelöst. Als Nachfolgeorganisation wurde 2009 die „Foreign_Policy_Initiative“ gegründet. Eine große Zahl der am PNAC beteiligten Personen findet sich auch in der Foreign Policy Initiative wieder, so z. B. William_Kristol Und Robert Kagan. Schon 2007 entstand das „Center_for_a_New_American_Security“, dessen Name einen deutlichen Anklang an das Papier „Rebuilding America´s Defenses“ darstellt und auch eine „defensive Maskerade“ beinhaltet. Auch die berüchtigte Madeleine_Albright war Direktorin des Centers. Sie war als Außenministerin unter Clinton nicht nur tief in die Verbrechen_gegen_die_Menschen_Zentralafrikas verwickelt, sondern auch mitschuldig an dem Tod von geschätzten 500.000 Kindern im Irak infolge der damaligen Sanktionen. Berüchtigt ist ihre Antwort auf die Frage „war_es_das_wert?“, nämlich, „wir_glauben_es_ist_den_Preis_wert“. So spricht eine Faschistin!

Merkel Going Rampant on History!

At the Summer celebratory event of the Protestant Church to mark its 500^th anniversary in Berlin there was a pannel discussion, topic: “Actively shaping democracy – taking responsibility at home and abroad”. Among the four pannel participants were Chancellor Merkel and Obama (I have a drone). One might ask what role polititians as Obama with a terrible record of involment into imperialist wars and drone murders should have at such a church event, especially with this topic. And with a question coming up on his drone-war he tried everything to belittle the cruelties. But the piek of shameless babbling was delivered by Merkel!

In order to build a bridge between the 500^th Protestant anniversary and America she referred to Columbus getting to America a short while before Reformation, and – oh Lord (says me, the Atheist)! – dared to babble: „that was the beginning of our good relations with America!“

It left me speechless! With „our“ she could only have meant Europa since there wasn´t a real Germany. School system in the former GDR was quite effective with History. She should have known how „nice“ the relationship between the Europeans and the indigenous inhabitants of America were. This is for example to be seen with a picture from a book by Bartolomé de_las_Casas. A picture in one_of_his_books demonstrates horrors easily matching up to those done by the IS. It shows a whole number of indiginous women and men hanging over a fire to be roasted whereas a Spanish soldiers is about to smash a child at a wall:

This scandalous remark shows strikingly how little concern is to be found in the Western political elite about Colonialism, Racism and Imperialism producing those horrific sufferings making millions move out of their countries. They´re immune to sympathy and compassion with human beings! And it´s hard to believe that this foolish word was dropped out of pure ignorance!

Aged, but not silent: Samir Amin telling how it is!

I´m very sorry I lost his writings and analysis a bit out of sight, but last week I had the pleasure to hear and meet this great Analyst, Samir_Amin, in Berlin, on two occasions. One occasion was a meeting organized by the left party, DIE LINKE. The other occasion was an event by the International_Peace_Bureau on Friday, the 30^th of September. For a long time I suffered from senseless talks celebrating the mere existence of the organization for more than hundred years. Talks without substance, not at all naming the real culprits, the US Power Elite. But then Samir Amin, being the last speaker, saved my evening, he put things right! He made it clear that the US and its Western allies including Japan stand for more than 75 percent of world´s armament and other countries are armed not to be crushed by the West. The US Power Elite is trying always to crush every country not dancing to the tune of “the Master”! And he told the assembly – though in a friendly way – that the presentations lacked substance!

What after all is missing with all the pages (including my own) is the more concrete alternative to the existing mess and the „Powers that shouldn´t be“. As a good friend of mine, a very wise Lady from Egypt, is always demanding: we should come to intelligent action. And one element of that is to do more networking, to build a strong collective platform for spreading the truth and stirring resistance.
