Eight days ago I realized that my WordPress blog WiPoKuLi wasn´t working orderly. I could get access to existing articles, even see – as the blog´s owner – left on top the short statistics for 48 hours. But that was it! I couldn´t get access to the inbuilt editor, so I couldn´t post new articles. I couldn´t make changes with existing articles, neither could I see the detailed statistics. There was no problem on the side of the internet, since the „W“ of WordPress was seen on the otherwise empty screen. I was furious. Contacting WordPress on Twitter someone told me it might have something to do with cookies. This I doubted since I hadn´t changed anything with my computer.

Strange enough the whole thing happened after two menth of high traffic on my blog, July having 6817 clicks, August 6709 clicks, many of them coming from links to articles I´ve built into comments on critical blogs and websites. But I wasn´t quiet. On Facebook and Twitter I spread the info about the defect (including the suspicion of sabotage). And I continued distributing links to existing articles of mine. Then there was the loopwhole of the field „WP Admin“ to at least get more infos on my statistics, but still not the full scope of functions.

But today, without having changed anything, suddenly: full access again, so

Maybe I was too active?! – War ich zu aktiv?

Vor acht Tagen bemerkte ich, dass mein WordPress-Blog WiPoKuLi nicht ordentlich funktionierte. Ich konnte auf existierende Artikel zugreifen, auch die für den Blog-Eigentümer links oben eingeblendete Kurzstatistik der letzten 48 Stunden sehen, aber andere Dinge funktionierten nicht, was nicht am Internet lag, denn bei den nicht ansteuerbaren Funktionen erschien auf dem sonst leeren Bildschirm immerhin das Symbol „W“. Ich konnte jedenfalls keine detaillierte Statistik anschauen, keinen neuen Artikel schreiben und auch existierende Artikel nicht bearbeiten, um etwas zu verändern. Ich kochte!

Als ich auf Twitter Kontakt zu WordPress aufnahm, erzählte jemand etwas von Cookies, was mir nicht einleuchtete, da ich nichts an meinem Computer geändert hatte.

Befremdlicherweise war das Ganze geschehen, nachdem ich in den letzten beiden Monaten enorme Zugriffsraten von 6817 Zugriffe für Juli und 6709 Zugriffe für August hatte. Viele Zugriffe erhalte ich, da ich in Kommentare zu Artikeln of Seiten der „Gegenöffentlichkeit“ oft Links zu eigenen Artikeln einbaue.

Ich bin allerdings nicht verstummt, sondern habe auf Facebook und Twitter nicht nur die Kunde über das befremdliche Geschehen verbreitet, sondern auch fleißig weiter die Links zu existierenden Artikeln verbreitet sowie sehr kritische Kurzanalysen.

Heute nun, siehe da, ohne, dass ich irgendetwas an meinem Computer gemacht hätte, funktioniert wieder alles. Daher:
